Looking for Esmeralda

DD7 is determined to meet Esmeralda. Our next trip is 9/24 -- 10/4. Where should we look for her? Anyone seen her recently?

the last mention of her was 12/05 in France, but right now France often has Belle/Beast, Aurora and Marie.

by the way, Marie is the bestest. I might have to dump Jojo for her.

Unfortunately Esmerelda is VERY rare. Your best bet would be at Epcot, but there is just about no guarantee there either.

Yikes!! DD's very best friend met Esmeralda at the Princesss Storybook Restaurant in Aug 2006. We couldn't find her in Dec 06. I think the girls are having a little competition over this. Perhaps I should steer her towards Marie; she looks pretty cute.

We saw Esmerelda at the Princess Storybook Lunch in Norway in November 2006. She was beautiful. I've seen her "friend" in pictures here dressed as Jasmine also.

But, from what I understand, there is no guarantee who will be at those meals.

I haven't seen Esmerelda since the Hunchback show was open. I would love to see her in person some time. Marie does look very cute, BTW.

Thanks!! Yep, Our family last saw Esmeralda in Dec 2005 - And that was a stroke of luck to find her, as we never seen her since! She is soooo rare with no rhyme or reason to how often she gets out. And I also loved meeting Marie! I was so surprised to see her in France, which is a perfect place for her to set up greets. I'm glad to see she's been getting out more often!

I really have not seen her out since 2003, but I've heard some reports of her making very rare and random appearences at EPCOT.

We were there 1/24 to 1/30 and we met Esmerelda in Epcot at the Character Connection.

She wasn't one of the characters inside the main area but as we were leaving she was signing autographs and taking pictures just before you exit.

Last time we saw her was two years ago at the hat in MGM. She was there with Pheobus (spell?).

Are you going to MNSSHP? That is where these pics are from, they were together outside of IASW. DD was so excited, she hugged her and couldn't stop smiling - Esmeralda was really great w/her, making such a big deal that they were dressed alike. It really was a Disney Magical moment.
