I booked my LL this morning but I have decided not to ride an attraction but my husband will...can I remove myself somehow or do I just leave but not ride?

You can change yours to something else. If you are wanting to enter the line with your husband though, you will both need to have the LL. If you want to exit before boarding, you can always do that.

The easiest way to ensure that nothing weird happens for YOUR future LL choices that day would be to have your husband tap you in at both tap points.

I usually walk with DH on LL rides I don’t care for and then do the walk of shame and wait for him. Keeps it clean!
