We are on fall breal the week of the cruise. the only day that the kids will miss is the Friday before so we can fly down. Works out well for us.

Hi Everyone, we are first time Disney Cruisers, celebrating our honeymoon. Since this is our first Disney Cruise we have NO IDEA what we are doing. We added ourselves to the fish extender list (I think), and are excited to see what this is all about.

We reserved Remy and brunch at Palo. If anyone has any other suggestions on how to make our honeymoon awesome please let us know!

Yay!! We are also celebrating our honeymoon on this cruise! It's our first Disney Cruise too! (First cruise ever for that matter!)

Same for us! DS won't miss school (too young), but I will, since I'm a teacher. We have finals that week, so I've been working with the principal to have my "prep final" on Friday so that I don't miss anything important.

According to the FE list on post #770 by Gometros, it shows vtdoglover; Justin, Jodi & Avery as NOT participating in gift exchange. I have not seen anything to the contrary since then.
I have made my own spreadsheet and I came up with 31 staterooms, with 96 people participating. If I knew how to post a link to my document I'd share it here.

My daughter put two rooms under her name "sarahndipity" for the FE list. We would like to list our room (8520) with my name "Disneysince1982". This room still includes: Jim, Barbara, Hannah and Alyssa. Room 8512 stays the same.

Good to know. I was getting a tad mixed up as I was in the middle of working on our FE lists last night during my break at work ...

... when I get a call from my DW @ home reporting there is an intruder in our "front yard." She had gone outside with our little boy on our wrap-around deck on the front of the house when he ran suddenly to the top of the stairs and began barking (DW says he actually bounced off the plastic fencing we had put across the top of the stairs to prevent him from running into the frontyard and the treeline around our property ... he may be small but he is to those that are evil ... ) This was at 10 at night so it is pitch dark outside other than security flood lights on a few properties as we live in on an acreage in a subdivision in the countryside and our front section of the property is fully enclosed in a 6' high fence ... so someone has to scale over the chain link to get into the front. Long story short, she was challenging the intruder who was skulking through the flowerbeds to the west of the house while having my brother on the phone (he's a Sergeant with the city 5-0) ... then she called 911 while I was rushing home from the city. By the time I got there the RCMP was at our back gate ... we went in and did a perimeter sweep inside the front yard and then out on the roadway around our property. He was gone by then ... it was more unnerving than scary as DW and I are both are in the LE field.

Just what I needed during this crazy time ... working on two FE lists (also have to itemize everything for Customs as we are shipping it down from Canada - it is mind-boggling when you count the number of items for the FE ) , waiting for a few more things to arrive for the FE, scrambling to get a new FE for our stateroom (thanks to Gradysmom on Etsy!) as the one we ordered over a month ago from another had to be cancelled due illness/family emerg, getting ready for a get-away next week (yes, someone will be staying out at our house while we are gone), trying to get everything ready for our Disney holidays ... and so forth ... boy do we need to go on a

my oldest dd is missing the whole week... but i talked to her principal about it last year when we were booking so she said it's fine... as long as we try to fit in somthing educational

I've seen the movies Titanic and Poseidon Adventure and I thought I would NEVER go on a cruise. Trusting everything Disney puts it's name on, I decided to try a Disney Cruise five years ago. I did a lot of research before and after booking my first Disney cruise on The Wonder. I bought a Passporter for Disney Cruise Line. That book is a treasure trove of information! I studied the ship's layout beforehand and I knew my way around the ship before I ever set foot on it. The packing checklist was also a great help. It turned out that we had- The. Best. Vacation. Ever! Yep. That first cruise guaranteed that we'd sail with Disney again. I have no desire to cruise with any other company.

Hello, 9/29 Fantasy cruisers! Up until last week, my family and I were booked on the Sept 22 Eastern Caribbean Fantasy cruise. Then my husband found out he needed to travel for work to Australia the week before our cruise. Uh oh... Jet lag and time zone lag for the first three days of a seven day cruise? That SO won't work! Well, fortunately, we were able to move our cruise out a week and now we'll be joining YOU party people for a slightly different Western itinerary.
Here are our stats: April; my husband, Brian; and little boy, Roman (3 years old; 4 in Dec.). This is our third DCL cruise--first time on the Fantasy. We live in the Bay Area of California (Silicon Valley area). Our room is 2528 (unless we get some cool last-minute upgrade ).
I have not yet gone through previous posts, so perhaps someone can answer my preemptive questions...?
-We would like to take part in the fish extender (FE). How to join?
-Is there a time already scheduled for the meet up?
-In my last group, there were some suggested non-Disney-booked excursions for those of us who have kids under the Disney-cutoff age for snorkeling/sailing, etc. My little boy, as mentioned, will be under four so I'm hoping for a good suggestion or two!
-Coming in this late, we have obviously missed a lot of reservations... Any suggestions for what we should be trying to get on this itinerary?
-Is there a Facebook group for this cruise?

We just booked last night, as the IGT rate was simply too good to pass up - plus scored an extra $200 onboard credit from Expedia's weekend sale.

We are: Tom, Winnie, Taylor (15F), and Hailey (10F).

We're extra excited because we had originally booked the 6/6/12 Western over a year in advance and then had to cancel it because we moved and needed the deposit funds back, so we were all pretty bummed in June. BUT, now we're back on track and joining your party!
