We have a collection of several different sets here - classic, Christmas, our city, Scooby Doo, Friends... DS was a big fan when he was younger.

I tend to favor light blue and pink, then orange and green.

And as others have said, I also always saw the first two properties as purple!

I like the brown (purple?) ones and light blue ones because they're the cheapest to build houses and hotels on.

BTW, I love Monopoly but can't find anyone who'll play.

Yeah, I have a lot of friends who just hate it and refuse to play. One friend likes it, but it's not that fun with just two.

I'm a little far from both of you to set up a game night but I seem to remember DS and his friends used to play on line. - I'm not sure whether is was an app, a website, or through a gaming system like Xbox or Playstation, but check around if you're interested in that.

I can't remember the last time I played Monopoly... I do know that I usually tried to buy RR's and utilities.

Really any of the monopolies that you get more bang for your buck (light blue, orange, yellow.) The difference between green and dark blue is more of a toss up to me since there's only 2 dark blue properties.

I guess in order my preference would be:

Orange
Yellow
light blue
red
pink
green
dark blue
browns/purple

If you can add some railroads in there thats always helpful.
