Question: Borrowing, Booking and Membership Magic Beyond

Hi.

I have points in my 2026 and 2027 September UYs.

I want to book a trip on October 1 for a May 1 2026 trip.
If I want to do above, is it correct that I can borrow and use my 2026 points.

I will not use all my 2026 points and then in April, I will be booking a trip for October 2026.
If I do not have enough points in my 2026 UY for my October trip, is it correct I can borrow from my September 2027 UY?

On top of above, I want to renew my DVC AP, while I am at the RIV next month and use the Membership Magic Beyond option to renew.

Can I go to GS at a park, such as Epcot, and purchase the MMB for the $99.
Can I just go ahead and purchase the 12 OTU points (but will be 24) to apply towards my AP instead of using my actual points?
If no, should I still purchase and make a dummy ressie and then use for when I make my October trip in April?

Also, I could purchase the MMB for $99.
Then on October 1, I can make a ressie for my May 1 trip, but I will need to borrow from my September 2026 UY, I can do this, correct?
I will have more than 65 points left, but it will be in my September 2026 UY. Can I use these points for my
DVC AP renewal, which I can renew in October for my November renewal.

Could above also work?

I understand I can rent my points, get more money, etc. but I'm not interested at this time for the work (I've rented before). Just busy in life and work
and don't want to do this.

Do I have have above correct? Just want to have everything in order before I leave next month.

You have to go through MS for everything related to MMB, including buying the AP with points and doing the BOGO OTU benefit.

They should allow you to use the Sept 2026 points for your AP,,:they would borrow them and then do the purchase for you.

If you want to use the OTU points because of the discount, you can call and buy them at the same time you do the AP purchase.

If you want to use them as part of the May trip, then and don’t want to wait to purchase them that day, that is when you call, make a fake night using them anytime at least 31 days from now and then cancel it.

They will be there in a temporary contract for you to use at 7 months online.
