Maybe someone was told they couldn't tape up their signs?

We are double checking whether the menus are the same, and we grabbed a full set of kids navs on the first day (our habit when embarking). The iced tea is indeed the good brewed stuff, and for hot tea fans, you can request a flavored tea for dinner in Palo, since they have 'em on hand for High Tea. Cove Cafe also offers a nice selection. Rockin' Bar D is non-smoking, just like Wavebands, which has made it soooo nice for attending the theme parties.

Hello fellow 11/5/5 cruisers.

Just a quick note on door signs. Not only have I seen lots of great signs people have made but I'm on deck 8 and several of the suites have door signs put up by the staff for birthdays and such.

Ocean Quest
My son is almost 12 and has spent a ton of time in the Quest. He loves it. He spends more time there then the Lab. There is a movie maker computer. It has some different objects (such as toy dinos or different Toy Story characters). You move them around and click the capture button. You do this several times then click play and it plays back the frames as a movie. He just loves it.

No reports on the beach, but the horseback riding was great. It's walk-only, so it's suitable for any experience level. We saw people heading out on the ATV excursion, and that one looked very cool, too.

We had dinner at Palo last night, and sea bass was one of the specials. It's been ages since I've had Palo sea bass, and it was as delicious as ever. The homemade gelatos have won me away from the chocolate souffle.

Our villa appointment is at 2 p.m. & I can't wait!

Barb, I haven't personally met you yet, but I'm guessing we were on the same horseback riding excursion, we saw those ATV'ers too.
I saw 2 people walking in front of us on our tour wearing tshirts that said
platinum castaway club. Was that you and your husband?
I was with the teenage boy, my DS.

Horseback ride was very nice, but I'd wished it was longer and in earlier
years (many many ago) they used to let people trot or run if they'd wish
to. But I'm guessing for safety reasons they don't allow that anymore, just
as when we were younger we never had to wear helmets while riding either.

Anyhow, it was an enjoyable ride.

My son however says still that the best thing he's ever done was swimming
with the stingrays.

Oh, and he's definitely glad he's not in school this week too, he's just about
to IM his buddies and tease them how he's on this ship and they're in school.

Hi Suzy!
Can you believe that Suzanne and I were dancing yet our boys were
sitting it all out?!
Mine was looking out for 3swimmers DD13, and probably did not want
to be caught dancing with his mother and friend. How EMBARRASING that
would be !
The 70's party was a blast tonight! Gloria Gaynor "I will survive"
contest and for the men......John Travolta "Staying alive" contest.
These were sure funny! Pike, Keyon and the others were terrific in
their 70's garb complete with huge fro's. Sadly, I realized how old
I was and that these boys were not even born in the 70's.

Now, I just came from the chocolate and dessert buffet at Lumiere's.
Went there with Suzanne and Michelle and took many photos of desserts but was too full to eat (Ok, I had a few bites of fruit covered with chocolate
from the chocolate fountain.....) from eating the wonderful dinner at Palo
tonight with the single girls' club.
I found my son at the buffet sitting with Sarah and her 3swimmers family.
Hmmmm maybe they'll adopt him! Just kidding.....HA HA

Tonight may have been the first night that I am turning in later than my teenager who told me about 45 minutes ago that he was tired and going to
bed. HA! I outlasted him one night!

Ok, truth be told..............yes, the jeans that I wore boarding this ship
on Saturday, that I wore tonight for the 70's party.......are too tight. It is
true! You need elastic waisted pants for the end of your cruise.

It's our last night. It was a fantastic trip. My teenager had
a wonderful time too. We hate to go home........as I am sure
everyone does.

We had an excellent time parasailing! If you've never tried it
DO IT! You won't be dissappointed.

Ok, well, it's time to go book our next cruise
I'll miss all my new friends!
