College story Warning!! When my first born went to college - I was all matter of fact - not once did I get 'verKlempt" BUT.... he got special permission to be late - he was climbing a mountain (Scout Ranch Philmont) I litarly took him off the train at a stop - drove him home, he washed, we packed the car and then headed down to his college -
we get there - his dorm floor was waiting for him before beginning the meeting - BEST TIME EVER to get to a College Move in - the whole floor met us at the car and unloaded it - NO WAITS for elevators, or no waits for the dolly thingy - AWESOME... we get to his room, I do the "MOM" thing, and unpack the lamp - get it set up, and then start to make the bed...
DS mortified "MOM, MOM..." one of the dorm kids said "hey,no worries, you werent here earlier, EVERY MOM does that!"
So they left me to the bed making and went for the meeting -
I then went to the hotel, next morning met up with son, he had his schedule, and I did help him navigate to his class - (to be fair it was across from the bookstore) then I went in to the bookstore and bought all his books!!
Easiest transition for DS ever!! BEST memory for me as a mom!!
Sooooo - do share with your DS "all moms make the bed - for the first time" I can share DS' email for confirmation!!

Leisa that's how I do it too - but to get the counts of everyone on the thread - you go over to the right side of where Tim posted the screen cap - and click on one of the first posted by thingy's and a box will pop up showing all who post here and how many posts they made.... (clique thread would do this and someone would email lost posters!!)
) If you put our pointer over it, it will tell you how many times your posted in the thread.
