I am still around. I don't know enough to play your game but I am enjoying it. I am learning lots about the eating establishments of WDW.

And we sure do love to have you come on over and banter about with us!! Maybe I could entice more folks over if I stole the picture of Jordan in his kilt from his thread??!! He's quite dashing sporting it.

We have workers from our conference in Chiang Mai doing rescue work with kids in trafficking.

Thailand is paradise or it sure looks like it.

We have seen more than our fair share of men (who know better) with little boys, young (like 15) girls, you name it. GROSSES ME OUT!!!!!!!

There are lots of groups working with the problem, and doing rescue ministry- our group included. Personally, I could never do that! It would just piss me off everyday.

But, if you go south, to the islands, there's much, much less of that filth. I see enough wife beating, alcolholism, domestic incest, and all that crap here, that I need to be totally away from it to really get that rest.

Leisa I dont know a lot either - and I am totally with you on not subscribing - actually not even sure HOW to subscribe (I always read a post where someone only posts the word "subscribe" then about 10 other Disers come in and post/yell "YOU DONT HAVE TO POST TO SUBSCRIBE"... ok... why even subscribe?

Altho I'm also guilty of only going to page 1 to look for all the arrows of the threads I've posted in - and if they arent on page 1- I move on!

(oh and if a moderator determines your trip or pre trip report is all chatter, and not on topic - they move it - or remove it!)

Glad you are going to make his bed - just prepare him - let him know all the moms do it - I said so, Its the little the things that make the difference - and I also have that young'n to help - altho she bites if I try to cuddle!! She turns 13 at midnight - and 13 years ago today - and at midnight it was a DARK AND STORMY night!!

NOow about the trip - I wonder how the CS "new POlicy" will be hanging out to dry when y'all go?? (ie no saving seats and NO backs on chairs in MK!!)

I have to sub or I'd miss updates in a big way, for me it's easier than scrolling down because really, if you update on a day that a lot of other threads are updating, you could be on page 2 in a heartbeat! I just sub with no email updates and then bookmark my subscription page.

Of course the downfall of that is I can miss new ones when they start.

I've actually never seen a thread moved, I'm sure it could happen but there is a lot of chatter in a TR, and PTR, isn't that the point?

I'm confused as well. I'll tell you this...if we are trying to hold 6 seats while someone is in line getting alll the food and a CM takes empty chairs away...it'll be ugly.

I mean really, are they going to make you get up? Steal the chairs back? not really sure how they can enforce that. We always seem to have a hard time finding CS seating anyway, hard to imagine it being worse than it is.

Hi Sweetie!! Of course you're allowed to still guess~~ The polling closes tomorrow So far, there's no guessing fraud that's come to my attention. You did very well this round, too, as did everyone else.

Thailand is so very wonderful. You know you can get a pretty large authentic Thai meal at these little roadside restaurants for about a dollar??? WITH fresh tropical fruit!!

Sleeping Booty posted the article that got a lot of Dis'ers panties in a knot for sure (just check into the Disabilty board if you have doubts!!) BUT, like the mod of the boards are quick to point out - the policy is only effect at the parks BUSIEST of times - and then - what happens is all these tables are filled with "squatters" so as you with food look and search, all you see is a table with 1 squatter -

and Disney figured out - if they have a CM seating patrons, guests, then by the time you get thru that long line (BUSIEST time of year only!) there will be a seat for you - the average time to eat a CS meal is 20 min (not me, but those kids in school only get 20 min!) and it can take 30 min to get thru the line -

hence the policy - tables for everyone is the theory!!

but the panic!! oh my... you'd think that people wouldnt know what they could do - I'll still send my dd and dh to a side while I go thru the line ALONE (thank you very much) and then we'll all meet up!!

btw - this makes far more sense than the way we currently do it - DH finds a table and then I ask dd to find him - we are grateful for cell phones - seriously that Pizzafari even with a cell phone I didnt think I'd ever find the man!!

First off, you were righty-o on your guess!! Congrats!

Also, thank you for that link. However, I'm not sure I'm altogether happy with this AT ALL. I can totally see where this is leading- tips at the CS places; the first step toward what they are doing at The Pepper Market. It will be very interesting to see where this all goes, and how it pans out in the end.

I see your point. And in theory I agree. But it seems like if there is truly a squatter then there could be ONE CM who patrols for that sort of thing, or is available to ask. At the same time, though, I'm leery of adding a hostess at CS places- it may be that we will be tipping another $5 per meal for someone to bring you to your seat and get you a drink.

Whether helpful or not, having a PTR going makes the time pass infinitely more quickly, and yes, I do think a lot of info on them is very helpful. I certailnly wouldnt' be going to O'hana or Flame Tree if it weren't for PTRs/TRs!! And I would def. NOT have tried Hoop last time- which was a major highlight for us.

I love to see other folks plans, and they are constantly giving me ideas on timing of things, little tricks and tips of more efficient touring etc....

But the biggest bennie is that I've made some AMAZING lifer friends here. THere are some fabulous folks here that are seriously VERY friendly and, well, just fun to hang out with!!

WOW you just blew my mind. I didn't know what syntax meant. I had to look it up in the dictionary. It is 1am here though... don't get too deep on me now!!!!

I can't say I do it on purpose but at Cosmic Ray's, for example. I got Juliana's and my food. found a seat then I went to get Melody's from a different window. So they could kick them out? Or since they are eating they are fine?

In all fairness to the "new policy", there probably are some who would rather sit in a CS place rather than on a bench somewhere? For what reason, I have no idea. Shadier? Frankly, I would rather sit in a more picturesque venue than a busy place like Cosmic Rays or Pecos Bills.

Thailand extended vacation.....Nice! Does this mean that your hubby has to do all the packing and such to get the kids to Thailand without you? That would be a diaster in my house!!!

I can't believe I didn't see this before. It could be that we were posting at the same time, and I just didn't see it? Cynthia and I have been doing that a lot lately, and in fact, just did it on yours yesterday!!

Anyhoo- Yes, that's exactly what it means!! No joking. They are older though, now, and it's not super hard to travel with them anymore. This will be our very first "family vacation" with only 3 of our kids. It will be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO weird!!! I think I may cry.

The good thing about packing for Thailand is that pretty much all you need is a swimsuit, and a couple pairs of shorts and t-shirts. Shouldn't be a problem, even for him.

I can't guess anymore...but I would have gotten THAT one right!

You should guess anyway, just so I can see if you remember WHERE we're eating.

Well, if that weren't enough posts by me in a row, I'll go ahead and make it an odd 3. I love to hear myself babble.

Dearies- We had a 100% accuracy rate on this Ration Drop. You are all way too smart, and my clues were way too lame. I think it also helped that everyone and their mother (for those in the "Let's-make-a-major-mistake-and share-our-vacation-with-our-parents-Club") has eaten at:


O'hana!!!!

I will spare you all the details of this place, as you've seen them a thousand times already. Let's suffice it to say, I am pretty well stoked up about eating shrimp, and that tantalizing salad. I think I've said it here, oh, about 5 times, that a Lapu Lapu has my name written all over it!!! I'll say it again, if you don't mind. Yes, I understand that it probably has about as much alcohol and fruit juice as Tinkerbell can pee, but I'm doing it anyway; it looks that refreshing!

I was trying to get to Rations Drop #6 today, but am really running out of time. We'll see how the evening goes... if not, Monday AM, my time, will have to do.
