Sorry you were unable to get tickets, that would be such an experience. Are you going to keep trying?Good morning, ladies. Popping in for a quick minute.
Well, after trying my best for about 2 hours, no luck with the World Series tickets. I'll just have to watch the Rockies beat the Sox from the comfort of my family room!!!![]()
Glad that everything iswith the teachers. DS is not a teacher lover, I have to say. He does his work and does well most of the time, but I think that since he got his acceptance to CU, he's not emotionally invested in teacher pleasing. Will have to "lean" on him for the rest of the year to make sure he's putting in the effort. He knows that if he doesn't, there will be h*** to pay!!
Gotta get back to work. I have a swimming lesson today at 4:30. It went very well last week, so I'm looking forward to this one today.
See ya!!![]()
Now, if you really want to see the cheering that goes with a win, you might want to come to my family room

My DS either loves his teachers or can't stand them and is a PITA, those darn smart kids......This reminds me of 8th grade when all we hoped for was getting him out of the middle school and into the high school,

Hope you continue to enjoy the swimming lessons - won't be long, you will be trying out for the synchronized swim team

Our raccoons were back last night. We sat and watched them for awhile, they sure are fascinating to watch, especially the way they use their hands. Tonight we are going to put out a bowl of water with the cat food. DD has never seen the way they wash their food.
Well, we are ready for the football dinner - the crock pots are lined up, turned to low and filled with meat, chili and nacho cheese sauce. The shredded cheese, butter, sour cream and bacon bits are all in bowls and ready to go.
The oven has 60 foil wrapped potatos roasting away and DS is headed home during his off campus class to ice the drinks. The house is picked up, the yard is clean and there is a stack of wood for a bon fire tonight. (The neighbors are gonna love it

Last night I layed a beach towel on the kitchen counter. I scrubbed the potato(the big huge mongo Costco 1# ea type) set it on the towel and rolled it to DD who had a fondue fork. DD stabbed a couple of holes into the now dryed potato and rolled it to her brother who wrapped it in a foil sheet and placed onto the oven rack. We make a great team

Have a great day ladies..............
