Wondering if this draws a big crowd. We'll be heading out there and I was thinking of doing legoland on sunday, oct 19th but now wondering if that is a bad discision.

What is the brick or treat exactly anyway? Do kids dress up?

I was also wondering if anyone has gone. We get to Orange County airport on 10/25 at 3pm and thought about driving down for Brick or Treat. (We are staying in Carlsbad that night anyway.)

Worth going?

We haven't been to the evening Brick or Treat event but we went to Legoland last October and were able to go through the trick or treat trail during the day. I know they have more halloween themed shows for the evening event though and the kids can wear costumes. I really liked the fact that the treats were healthy and the kids also got the halloween lego brick. We also go to Mickey's Trick or Treat but it feels like its just become a run for each candy station. We're going to go to both this year and I also like the fact that the Legoland event is earlier in the evening.

The Brick or Treat is the "theme" for Halloween, as well as the path you can take to trick or treat. We've gone many times and it hasn't been too crowded. The kids can dress up if they want to, and there are costume contests (although I don't think they do them every day).

You mention that the kids get the halloween lego brick and also can go through the trick or treat trail during the day. Is this every day or just certain days? We're planning on going down to Legoland on the 25th and I haven't looked to see if that's a Brick or Treat night. We are doing Mickey's Trick or Treat party on the 23rd at California Adventure.

The special event is on specific nights and we have never been to that specifically. The trail, I believe is open throughout the month of October. We went early October last year during normal park hours. My kids got the special halloween lego brick in the trick or treat trail. You can check their website to find out when the trail is open because I believe it is open for a few hours per day.

The Brick or Treat Trail is open every weekend in October from 11 am to 4:45 pm. It is lots of fun, if you do go on the 25th make sure to check it out. I haven't been to the night festivities. We will be trying it out the first weekend in October so I'll try to post after we go. I would say being so close to Halloween and in the middle of Brick or Treat Legoland may be more crowded than normal. We went last year on a weekend in October and didn't find it to be terrible. The kids had fun dressing up and trick or treating.

Any time you go to Legoland if lines are long for the rides head to some or the activities that aren't line dependent like the Build and Test. Start your day at the back of the park and work your way forward.

Have a great time at Legoland!
