Actually I've got some work I should be doing ---I really should be working on the schedule for work ---but I think I'm going to put it off until tomorrow night and work on it during the superbowl!

And speaking of work - boss thought it would be funny to pick on me about being a cashier tonight (since I haven't worked a regular cashier shift if a year or two! ) Anyway he also got everyone else in on it. Within five minutes of being there I had to call for a price check and then within another five minutes I needed something else. So he comes over to my register and says - really loud of course - you sure seem needy tonight. Perhaps you need some training! Later, after boss was gone, one of the cashiers was giving me a hard time. Finally he told me that boss put him up to it. I just shook my head and grinned. I reminded him that he was doing boss's dirty work for him - not smart since I'm the one that makes his schedule not boss! He said he was just the middle-man and that I shouldn't punish the middle-man! Then the assistant manager walked past me and said "I'm surprised you're still vertical - - - isn't it way past your bedtime. Don't people your age go to bed early" At least the teasing made the evening go by a lot faster!
