Hang in there. They need to understand you are only doing your job. You didn't make the decision to cut hours but you still have to figure out a way to work around it.
We have a gentleman that sits outside the store I work for and he collects money for the Veterans. It was so cold yesterday so I offered to get him some coffee - but he had brought his own. He is so nice. He's there quite a lot. One time we were talking about A.J. and he brought him some pics of the aircraft that he used to work on. He always says stuff like, "I know I'm probably boring you..." I always try to make sure he understands he's not boring me at all and how much I appreciate all he did for our country!!!
You're such a great mom! I don't know what I would do if one of my boys enlisted. I don't think I could handle the stress of it! Your son is very brave and it sounds like he's turning into a very wonderful young man!!! Make sure you tell him thanks from us when he comes home!
They're supposed to be out today - but get this....DH got it working Monday - after I made two trips to the laundromat! I had asked him to check it when it happened last Thursday and he said he did. But then he magically checked it again Monday and it started working for him!
I still want to have it checked but it's working now at least.
