the on Friday we have our HS openhouse for the 8th graders (we are an options school which means the kids have to apply to get in instead of going to their neighborhood school-- remember Chicago has 300+ high schools)and its gonna be a long day. School 7:30 - 3:01 then open house 6:30-8:30!!! YIKES!!!

This is still like the ultimate culture shock to me!

Remember - we have ONE high school for the entire county!

I actually came home for lunch yesterday! I got off work at 1 and came home and had some soup for lunch!
