Plus this weekend we finally broke down and got a Brand New Computer and a Huge 22" flat screen to go with it

-and what a pleasure to not have to deal with that old broken down one-it was getting so bad!!! it would freeze up all the time

I was scared to transfer anything over from it-so we only transfered our pictures and some of the music the kids purchased from i-tunes

it runs so fast and smooth now-and now I'm trying to get use to Vista of course

Well today was the Day DS was suppose to find out his return to the States date.......



and of course I was so worried that I haven't slept but 2 hrs all day and last night about- since He mentioned that it might be the end of the month-and I already switched my Holidays of X-mas to Thanksgiving off

I'm sorry but this is just ridiculous!!! These guys (and girls) go into the service to protect us and then get jerked around when it's finally time for them to get to go home for a while! It just isn't right. Sorry if I'm ranting but it really bothers me! Kim - I think you're remaining amazingly calm waiting to hear!

and since I was awake all night and day -I finally got the call @ 2pm.......


HE'S COMING HOME-FINALLY ON NOV 21st


of course I figured that would be the day since it's the day ALL the windows in the house are going to be replaced and it's going to be a HUGE Mess!!!!

Guess I should have read a little further before I started ranting!

A.J. came home from school today with an invitation...

"You have been selected from among your peers!"

Inside it reads, "You have been nominated for the Fall 2008 Spotlight. This event is a time for us to honor you for some very special traits that we have seen you display. Please join us on November 17th - bring your family and let us spotlight you!"

I also got an email from his teacher to let us know that the invitation was coming home with him!

Sounds pretty special!
