I probably would have stopped the Mom and asked the Heck was her kids problem. She must be lacking something at home to act the way she does.

I Too probably would have made some off-color comment like its nice to see she has manners somewhere, cuz its not at school... but then of course I would have regretted it later. but talking to the parent (via the school) is not a bad idea.

It is supposed to get up to 70 here today.....what's up with that

we had 50-60's all week, and after midnight it fell to 22 and now we are up to 8" of snow!!! hope you get out before you get the bad weather!!!

I get to stay home, talked to the principal, and the building we are in is closed, so our kids will go to their neighborhood school (I teach at a magnet school so the kids are bussed). for me, sorry for the kids!!
for some reason I don't feel bad, because my last school was a neighborhood school and we always got a ton of kids on snow days.

Our schools NEVER Close unless the snow plows are all broken because the Mayor feels "SCHOOLS ARE THE BEST AND SAFEST PLACE FOR THE KIDS TO BE, and how would the parents arrange babysitters on such short notice?" I try to ingnore the second half of that statement, but I do agree with the first part since many of our kids don't have proper heat or food at home.

Glad to hear you get to stay home Pam I get to stay home today too since I don't work again til Saturday night-WOW!!! Snow,can't say I miss it much,we had 72 degrees yesterday, and it's 63 right now much colder in WI according to my oldest DS who still lives there

I still don't have my voice, 4 days now, and I feel like it's moving down into my lungs

I am going to have to call the Dr and see if I can get some prednisone, there is NO WAY that I want to go to WDW wheezing and sick!!

sorry-I was helping Catie find a retro 80's look-the 80's is considered retro-boy do I feel old now!!!!

The new job is great-very very busy!!!! it's non-stop sick kids all night!!! I had good feedback from my preceptor-I had to show her how to work on of the IV pumps since we had a kid staying in the ER since the hospital was full and the girls was like great you have to show me how to work this,when I should be the expert here!!
