Morning

we have a wake up snow of 6" (so far) and school is still open. I will NO WAY be there in time as the commute time is 4X's its usual. a road that usually is only 25 min is up to 2 hrs right now (yes the roads are not clear)

but it is nice. Our first snow of the season. They expect 9-14" when done.

hey ladies I am Looking for some help..


if you remember darren started a new school this year and he has had a few problems with 3 kids in his class..

1st time they told darren he had a spider on his head. Of course he flipped(Hates spiders) ... so they continued to tease him for a few days. We told him to stop responding and it would go away. After a few days this did stop, We thought it was over..

Last week I got him a new shirt and he liked it until this kids teased him about it calling it and him stupid

Well, today he was leaving for a 2 night field trip with his class, as a Mom I am nervous about these kids so I speak to his teacher this morning and she tells me she got a call from another Mom about this kids bulling my ds..The Mom said it was like they were trying to intimidating Darren.. he never told me about this other incident

Now I am upset about the whole thing..but I am really mad at his teacher for not calling me when she heard for the other Mom..

Am I over reacting to the whole thing??

I would call that mom and thank them, and then the school to talk to the Teacher. Also sit with D and talk to him about what is going on. If you need to, request the school have the kids parents come in for a talk too.

First off.

I don't blame you for being upset, I would be also. I think I would talk to the teacher about what is going on and why you were not told about it. And find out how the teacher plans to deal with this in school. Than get ahold of the other Mom and Thank her for calling and alerting the teacher to the other issue.

Than talk to Darren and find out why he didn't want to discuss it with you.
