Last made FP 6 months ago and everything changed.

Tomorrow is our FP day, so I thought I would try a practice run with one day at MK. The whole set up has changed. It seems a lot more work this time. I put in who is in party, confirm, pick park, pick ride/show, back to confirm party, pick ride/show (of course by now I forget what the time for the first one was) and repeat for the third FP. Am I doing something wrong? I'll need to have paper and pen handy to write down the times so I don't overlap by 5 mins.

No, that is the new system, so, use a paper/pen or use a phone + computer or a phone + iPad etc. as you are booking.

Ok, thank you. I wanted to make sure I wasn't making the job harder by repeating steps unnecessarily.

I got it done. Took two hrs for 12 days. I got several "sorry we can't confirm this, you have to start over". About 3 or 4 mins of error page with olaf. Couple of times I left DH out of the party oops. When checking our FP plans it had an error with the ADR. I was eating by myself, sorry DH.....but on the reservations page it was correct. Our first FP was for the frozen ride. Did have to look on our second EPCOT day, but we got it.

I felt the same way when we made ours. It seems that Disney could easy have a list of other FPs for that day when making new FPs. We had to make FPs for 2 weeks. It took us a few hours but so glad that we had gotten everything. Enjoy your trip.

I had a headache by the time I was done. We prefer to ride mine train in the dark, seems more fun that way. So we made that for say 5:45 and tried to work backwards. Got Peter pan for 3:50 and then tried to squeeze a ride in between. Couldn't do it, but then I saw a Mine train for 6:05. Book that , etc.......

During our May trip, our DD acted as our personal concierge. She was at home in PA and kept changing or making FP for us. We don't even have a smart phone and if we did, we'd spend the whole trip trying to make one new FP. LOL That was very convenient when say we used up our FPs and then she could get one for Nemo ride or little mermaid ride, but not biggie biggies but those FP cut way down on the walking to get to the ride.
