Day 7 - Wednesday, September 8th, 2010 - Rehearsal Day!!

So today was the day before our wedding!! I was so excited, but part of me still didn't believe that it was happening. The whole day was a little weird because the rehearsal was right in the middle of the day.

This was the first time that I actually saw the wedding pavilion, and I was amazed at how beautiful it really was. The pictures look great, but don't do it justice.

I will have to update this post later. I don't have any pictures other than the wedding pavilion by itself. Because I was doing the rehearsal my mom took all of the pictures. She has some really good ones, but I still have to get them from her camera.

Because of the short length of some of our guests stays, we had dinner with just DH's family on this night, instead of with everyone. We ate at the 50's Prime Time Cafe. We had an amazing waitress, she was so fun, and was really in character.

We tried to get to bed early because we were going to have a very early morning for the wedding, but I don't think I got to sleep until about 11. I was too excited for what was to come tomorrow!!

Yay! Thank you for replying Geek+Nerd! I am glad that someone out there is reading. I had a hard time getting back on here after my wedding was over. I was glad to be married, but sad that I had no more Disney wedding planning to do. But things are going well now, and I am glad to be back! The wedding day will be posted soon! I work all weekend, so it will probably be early next week!

Everything sounds great so far! My family usually drives too, it takes us about 24 hours of driving time so we break it up into 2 days. DF and I flew for our planning session and while I am not a fan of flying, I think I might keep taking anti-anxiety pills just so we can get there in 2 hours!

Can't wait to see the wedding day next!!

Day 8 - Thursday, September 9th, 2010 - Wedding Day!! Part 1

So I have found this part to be a bit hard to write. Randy gave us so many wonderful pictures, and I really have more pictures than words for the wedding day. So I am just going to wing it and hope that it all turns out lol

We were woken up by our phone ringing at 2am (and we didn't get to sleep until about 11pm) so not much sleep! I decided to just get up and start getting things ready, I was too excited to go back to sleep! DH was not so eager to get up though lol I went down to Gasparilla's and made myself a tea to get a little caffeine in me to start the day.

Ana from Beaute Speciale arrived at 3am to start my hair and makeup. It was really early, so I didn't have too much to say, but Ana was great! It was really relaxing to just sit there with my tea and have my hair and makeup done. DH didn't want to see my hair and makeup until it was finished (and he had nothing to do that early) so he went down and sat on one of the beach chairs.

I thanked Ana for a wonderful job, and DH came back up so that we could both get ready. I was unsure how I would feel about seeing each other before the wedding, but this was our only day to do the MK shoot so we didn't have much choice. But I will say that it was really relaxing and romantic. It was just the two of us, getting all dressed up for our big day - and I loved every minute of it. DH even helped me lace up my corset dress - I couldn't do it myself and nobody else was getting up that early!

DPS picked us up at about 5:30 and we headed towards Magic Kingdom! I don't have any of my MK pictures still online, and I don't have the disk yet, but it was an amazing experience and I am really glad that we got the opportunity. Stephanie was our photographer and she was amazing! She was really sweet, and kept telling us how beautiful we looked (I definitely needed that boost!) and we got pictures in all of the spots that I wanted. I was really happy with how everything turned out.

At the end of the shoot we were already sleepy - no sleep that night, and being up super early - but we still had a long day ahead of us. We went back to the GF to get ready for the ceremony.

Day 8 - Thursday, September 9th, 2010 - Wedding Day!! Part 2

When we got back to the GF, Beaute Speciale was already there waiting with my mom, grandmother, and brother. We had the only keys to the room so they were all waiting out in the hallway - I felt so bad! - but my mom said that they were talking and having a great time. I let everyone into the room, and took my dress off for a breather.

I am the kind of person that needs to have breakfast or I get a headache, so I headed down to Gasparilla's to get another tea and a bagel. We met Randy in the foyer to the building!! I told him that he was here for me and I would be back up in a minute.

This next part went really quickly. I thought that we had a lot more time than we really did. We all got our hair done, got dressed, and had to leave. My family all loved that Randy was there early and busied himself taking pictures of everything!

So where was I? lol I honestly cannot remember the exact order of all of the places that we took pictures with Randy - it was so incredibly hot, and we just went from place to place, taking pictures lol Randy was fantastic though. He kept us smiling and was extremely helpful with everything! So I am just going to post a bunch of pre-ceremony pictures.

Us with all of our guests. This is one of my favourite pictures that makes me so glad we had a DFTW. If we had got married at home, there is no way we would have taken a picture with all of our guests, so I am really glad that we have pictures of everyone that shared our special day with us.

Getting into the coach to go to the ceremony. I had a big round of applause from everyone outside of the GF - it was like I was royalty! And a little girl said "Look mom, a real, live princess!!" with big open eyes - it was all I could do not to cry! I was one of those little girls that always wanted to be a princess, and thought they were so beautiful!. That is something that I will never forget - what an amazing feeling!

We waited foreverrrrr for a monorail to get into this picture, but one just wouldn't come, so we had to drive away lol
