We are on the way home ... left the fridge at luggage services to Tatemiak. Of course I totally forgot to leave the paper, sharpie and tape! Fridge worked great although the box had some ants when we picked it up. None in the fridge though.

I have ganandem's new reservation number, so I am all set. I have a silly question, however. What do you do with the box? Seems kind of big to have hanging around the room. Is it ok to break the box down--I'm worried that will alter the integrity of the box. Am I overthinking this??

The box is a little large but it fits under the counter where the sink is just fine.

With the entire roll of packing tape that I used to protect the box in September it can no longer be broken down and it will stay intact as a box for as long as the fridge is still working.

Like the Douglas mentioned it will fit under the sink or it will fit on top of the area where you hang things up. A lot of people put it sideways so that the opening is facing out and then store things inside of it. Just make sure the box doesn't get taken apart and that it doesn't get wet.

Make sure you read the attachment to the e-mail I sent you the other day. It has a lot of detail about the fridge. You'll want to print it off and take it with you in case you have problems/questions while at Pop.

The family and I will be at Pop from January 17-30, but I see this fridge is reserved from 20-24. Would it be possible to reserve it from 17-20, hand it of for a couple days, then get it back on the 24th?

I'll have to contact the people who will have the fridge before and after your stay to make sure I can even get a hold of them and make sure they don't have a problem with it since they may have already made arrangements to drop off/pick up. I'll get back to you in a day or two . . . . .

In the mean time go ahead and send me your confirmation info, read post 1 about swapper responsibilities and just hang out till I get back to you.
