The hint is: bring it up a LOT in the month prior to your Birthday. HHBG HAs forgotten before, but now I bring it up in conversation 2-3 times a week starting around Valentines Day (a holiday which is also brought up before it arrives ).

And I bought the tent myself. He just allotted the $$ from his bonus this year (when he got it in january). So, he didn't have to worry about remembering WHEN my birthday was. It's a great tent, though. 2 person, 6lbs. Can't go family camping in it, but I CAN haul it to Disney pretty easily.

That is some goooooood advice!

And great news about the tent! A 6 pound tent sounds very ideal for traveling.

Dad called today and apologised for not calling sooner. We had a good conversation.

B went OFF on me for not making her another dress before the weekend came. They went to a birthday party this afternoon, and she was very upset I hadn't made her a dress for the occasion.

OK, I'm in a much better state of mind now. Never mind my grumpiness for the past three weeks.

I've been making a list of rides we want to go on that we previously missed, since B should be tall enough for a bunch we got bumped off of last year.

I've also been trying to warn HHBG that, considering that we didn't wait longer than 20 minutes for a SINGLE RIDE last year, we were living a charmed life, and things probably won't be the same this year. He responded with "I have faith in your planning skills". Oh.....the pressure.

We were also there the second week of May last year. This year, the third week of April....

Ah well, on the bright side, he said, and I quote:

"Well, it's not like we aren't going back next year, right?"




He's talking about maybe Feb. break next year in WDW. I need to figure out crowd predictions.....

Our Easter holidays over here are 5th to the 20th April this year (not near Easter at all ) so you'll arrive just as all the Brits go home

I think a lot of schools in the northeast have break late this year. We don't get out of school until the last Thursday of June, so mid-april is usually aimed for.

We don't get a break in February at all. And our spring break is the first week of April. But, we get out of school at the end of May, so I'm sure it all works out in the end. We do get a short break (3 days) in October, which is when we're going this year. We're just pulling DD6 out of school for two days so that we can go the entire week.

I'd love to go for the Focker Fest, but we start school August 11th this year! So, I can't pull her out right after school starts. We'll just wait until October. Maybe the weather will be a bit cooler by then!
