One of the kitties is sick. We woke up today, and he was sleeping in our bed. When we pet him and rubbed him, and MOVED him, he barely reacted. I ended up with an emergency Vet visit. They haven't found anything, but he has to get major testing done, and stay there for the next 24 hours.

Hopefully, he was just REALLY TIRED.

OK. Off to re-make S's shorts. I promised.

Sorry about your kitty. I hope hes okay.

SOOOOO sorry! My cat got randomly sick a little over a year ago and then he was suddenly fine, so don't sorry! The hardest part will be being away from him for the 24 hours!

Thanks everyone. kitty's home. Apparently, he was just tired. All of his tests came back fine, though they think he has kitty herpes , that wouldn't have made him sick. It jsut makes his eye look like he has peramanent conjunctivitis (which he doesn't have).

Oh well. $300 later, we find out he's fine.

And I re-made S's Dumbo shorts.....




....And they're STILL TOO SMALL!

So, I told HHBG about the kitty herpes and he freaked! Apparently, S has been getting the cat to sit on his lap a lot recently. By the way: S is the THUMB SUCKER!!!

He called the Vet, who mentioned that kitty herpes is VERY COMMON, and not contagious to humans. (whew!!) Apparently, they don't know the exact numbers, but possibly as many as 75% of domesticated cats have kitty herpes. Who knew. it's an outbreak. Mine has ocular herpes, which just means he has what looks like a permanently runny eye, and a susceptability to eye, upper resp, and sinus infections. Oh well.

On the WDW front, not much going on today. Waiting for the 30-day mark to change an ADR....

YAY! So glad your kitty is ok!!!! I spent the equivalent of a months rent on my cat only to get meds for him and then he was fine but no real answers. I think it was a random can of food from the cat food recall that made him sick. At least the kitty herpes (saying that makes me giggle it sounds funny) is not contagious!

BTW I thought of you yesterday as I was reading a magazine and it had a shoe section in it and they had several pairs of Lauboutins (sp?) BTW you don't want to buy them over here the cheapest ones were about $700

I turned 31 today. I am about to go to bed. My parents never called.

20 bucks says they call tomorrow (they are living with my sister, who called this morning) and say they didn't want to call and catch me "out to dinner".

Whatever.

But, hey. HHBG got me a tent for my birthday. And some cool books. And a new battery charger for the digi camera. I love him.

OK, back to real life tomorrow. *sigh* I need a 96 hour bithday debauch where I am waited on hand and foot, like someone else who shall remain unnamed.....
