I am all about high end shoes. I need to be able to walk 2-3 miles comfortably in them to even consider them. Yes ALL of the shoe porn shoes pass that test.

That being said....I have over 100 pair of shoes and need to pare down...

Check your local consignment stores and/or goodwill. Find an old prom/wedding gown and tailor it some. that's what I used to do when I needed stuff like that.

Thanks for the compliment! I am a shoe fiend. I'm still debating whether or not to keep the Jimmy Choos. They're a tough color to wear.

Dude. I wore the cream/snakeskin ones out for my birthday. I wear the black ones for a day in the city that has no heavy lifting. Make your DH take you out for dinner sometimes.

Jo, I don't know that I even have that many shoes. And if I do, I only wear about three pair on a regular basis -- sneakers, brown loafers and crocs. Gotta go for the comfort!

Wow. I just got 11 pairs for less than 100 bucks at the Dillard's sale two weeks ago. On top of that I have 13 pairs of flip flops and 8 pairs of tennis shoes. Oh, and two pairs of Crocs!

Me no likee crocs.

At one point I GOT RID OF 300 pair of shoes. I only have 3 pair of flip flops. I don't like walking in flip flops. I have one beach pair, one "nice" pair my sister got me, and a pair of cheap "shower shoes" for the gym.

I have about 20 pair of boots, between the dress boots, the cowboy boots, and the winter (non-snow) boots.

It's actually a problem that runs in my family. we are ALL compulsive shoppers and collectors. I am getting better, but I still have too many shoes....and sweaters.....and jeans...and WAY too much fabric....
