I usually buy my DGS his winter boots thru Lands End - the Flurry style as they are easy on/easy off. Does anyone know if these boots run large? small? true to size? He is barely a kids 9 shoe size this fall(turning 3 in October). His mom would like me to order a size 9 boot, but am I wrong in thinking a size 10 would be more practical - he might even get thru next fall with them. What size do you guys think would work best? I was brought up to buy large so you might get 2 seasons out of them, but I don't want to my DGS to be tripping over his feet.

Both of my kids have them, I would say they run a bit large. My dd9 is at least a size 3 more of like a 3.5 and the size 2's still fit. My ds5 is a 12 and I just bought him a 12 and they are big....I wanted to get him a 1 but they were HUGE
