This is the web page with every single picture posted on this thread. Please check it out. If there are any pictures I shouldn't have on there please let me know. Also let me know if I missed any that you want included. I don't want to post any that others have not intended to be included in this post. I will try to update it as often as possible.

Right now all the pictures are just lumped together. The next task is to group them so they are easier to find. I hope this site is helpful for those looking for something specific or for inspiration

I always told dh I wanted a vow renewal at Disney for our 20th...since we married so young. Oh well, plans change... we adopted dd so no money for a big renewal. Maybe at 30 years. We'll be at Disney for our 20th this year and we'll be experiencing our first trip (of many more to come!) with dd. We're taking her to her first princess breakfast on the day of our anniversary.

I guess that is equally good!

That is even better as you will have such a good time with DD on her first trip. Our first trip with our DD was just magical (actually it was DH first trip too) and she was 2 at the time. She is 7 now , where does the time go. Anyway I have been hinting about the vow renewal for our 10th Anniversary but it looks like we won't be able to yet. I booked Coral Reef for our Anniversary dinner this trip .

What pattern did you use to make your outfit? It is beautiful. Belle had always been my favorite but my daughter love Beast LOL!!

An auction for this same outfit ended yesterday with a winning bid of about $115. Not so bad! Look at the starting bid now. This is why I have to make my own. I could never afford to buy everything that I want. DD2 loves her customs and to see her face light up when she twirls or recognizes a character, oh, my heart melts and I want more. It never ends!

I am working on the YCMT jumper also. I posted last night about a question. I think it got missed due to the negative postings today! HMMM
ANYWHO! - I made it with black straps and the minnie dot as the bodice.
my question is should I use the black , yellow dot and minnie dot as the bottom stripwork part. or does anyone have a design idea I can "borrow"! Was in a rut last night and a night of sleep did not make me creative!

You're right! I still have wonderful memories of the first trip with our boys in 1996... when the castle was decorated as a cake for the 25th birthday! The were 3, 4 & 7 at the time. We stayed at the Contemporary and it was wonderful!

I plan to take Gracie and stay at the Grand Floridian for her 3rd birthday (dh & I stayed there alone once...the boys weren't interested) maybe for a mommy/daughter weekend. We'll to BBB, the Princess Tea Party and other girly stuff!!!

Well, knowing that she sold several of these outfits on the same auction, I told her not to rush mine and finish those that needed them right away. She did give $25 off my next purchase so I'm okay with it. I expect the outfit any day now.

Oh, I don't mean customs or costumes... I mean do you wear nicer clothes or just jeans/shorts and tees?

I haven't taken Destiny all dressed up yet but when I do, I will be wearing capris and a nice Disney tee or tank. I've seen a few Mickey tanks with lots of bling on ebay. I have to get one of those. Disneyshopping also has a cute logo tank. I have last years version and it has held up pretty well. I also wear my Mickey necklace and anklet from QVC and the watch that Disney gave me for my wedding gift.

Newbie question here......

Do I have to wash the fabric before I start to sew? I am liking the stiffness of some of the fabrics I bought and hate to wash it away. It seems like it would be easier to work with before sewing.

If I do have to wash it, can I throw it all in the washer together, or do I follow the same laundry principal, lights and darks separately?

I think I know the tee you're thinking about. I'll PM you the one I'm watching if you'll share ones you've seen. I was thinking of a bling tee for our first day when we go to Chef Mickeys. Gracie will have on her red Minnie set from Bowznstuff.
