Just back from POR

We stayed from 5/13 - 5/16 in room 1417 at POR.

We were at POR from 5/11 - 5/16 in room 1433! 2nd floor corner room in building 14! We were neighbors! We loved this resort but my DH was disappointed they no longer serve the BBQ ribs! We enjoyed the quiet pool for late night swims! and we took a nice boat ride to Downtown Disney one evening! This was our 2nd stay at this resort and we would return again!

We currently have ressies for AS Sports for Nov/Dec but are going to change to POR since we are military and will be using the AF Salute discount.

DH read in our Passporter to request Bldg 14 in Alligator Bayou. Could you tell us more about it and if it is worth the bit extra? This will be the first time for us at a moderate resort. We usually stay at SoG or AS Sports.

We weren't going to change but DH has decided it might be nice for something different.

I appreciate any insight or suggestions.

What is the latest on the renovations? How did you find the food court to be?

I have stayed in AB Building 14 twice. It is the closest to the food court. We asked at check in for a room in this building. We didn't pay anything extra.

Just tried to change our ressies and could not get into POR during the time we want. NO discounted rooms available AT ALL from Thanksgiving thru the end of Dec.

So we ended up making them for CS instead. Hopefully we will be just as happy with them.

I think you will love CSR!!! It is a beautiful resort!!!! Relax and have fun!!!!! You may want to walk around the resort before you go to the check-in desk. I thought I wanted Casitas, until I saw the Ranchos!!! Ended up in Cabanas... the pool is fantastic, as are the restaurants. This place oozes ambience! Take a walk around the lake at night-breathtaking!

We figure it will be a nice change anyway we look at it. We have always been to either ASSports or SoG so this is something different altogether.

i stayed there the 17th-25th i was very dissapointed at this resort.
