We just got back from a week long trip to Branson Missouri, and I admit we had a blast! All the shows were awesome! The people there were all so nice! Didn't run into one rude person at each and every show or store. Other drivers, now that is a different story.

One thing I noticed there though is that they are real big on tipping. They must all thrive on tips. They are very bold about it too when it comes to asking for a tip. For example our housekeeping at the motel actually had an envelope with her her name on it, asking for a tip with God Bless on the envelope.

But that was one thing I was very impressed with though at each and every show they acknowledged our men and women in the services and plus had mentioned God (sorry I know this is not suppose to be mentioned) but they are very religious out there.

I have to admit for me personally Branson comes in at a tie with Disney when it comes to family trips. As a matter of fact, it was so nice cause I am home and not real tired, plus a week there is a lot more reasonable too on the pocket book.

Any questions on what shows we saw I will elaborate. Have tons of great memories from this trip.

I'm glad you had a good time! We used to go there all the time, and it is a lot of fun. (Stopped going lately since it's been getting boring after going so many times.) Most of the people are very nice. Did you go to Silver Dollar City? The hills are a killer there!

Branson is a great place to visit. It has changed so much since the first time I visited. I remember when it was just a few little stores and one show, Shepard of the Hills, in addition to Silver Dollar City. Of course, that was 30 years ago! LOL!

Thanks. Yes I agree the hills are quite steep and you have to have great brakes on your vehicle.

Since there are so many shows and so much to see I would guess it would take a long time to get bored so you all must of been going a lot. I noticed that they change their shows some too, cause last March we went for a weekend and we saw Legends in concert. Dean Z the gorgeous young man who imitates Elvis (awesome guy) had a totally different show from the last one we saw. Although there was just a slight change with the Blues Brother's show.

Gretchen Wilson, Marilyn Monroe, and The Temptations were a new show for us, never saw them before. All were wonderful.

Didn't go to Shepard of the Hills, but did go for a just a few hours to Silver Dollar City. Our plans got messed up so we didn't really get our monies worth there since we only stayed for 4 hours. One thing that was great there though was one ride called Wildfire. DH and DD went on it, and they actually got a video tape of them on the ride. There was a camera built into the roller coaster right in front of them. It was so funny and awesome to see their expressions on the ride.

As a matter of fact that was one thing that I thought was awesome about some shows at Branson cause some of them taped the show live and had audience participation, and you can buy the dvd after the show.
