Revocable Trust help

My dad's contract was put in a trust 3 years ago. We have recently moved him to assisted living and are needing to change the mailing address for the trust. I do not have access to his DVC account to do so. I am also taking over as administrator of the trust. Does anyone know what I need to do to get this accomplished? I've spoken to MS, and of course they direct me to the email for account services. Account services responded with a form email that told me the steps to take to put the contract in a trust.

Does he have the mental capabilities to access his DVC account? Could he add you as an associate on the account in the meanwhile until you get added to the trust as a trustee?

I’ve been an associate since my mom passed away nearly 20 years ago.

I don't have anyone on my account as an associate, so I don't have first hand experience and just thought they could change the address on file. Sorry that isn't easier. Hope things go well with your dad.

I had a a similar issue when we had to deal with our late parents' DVC membership in a trust. We emailed with DVC (not sure if it was member services or account services) and they were very helpful at telling us exactly what was needed. We ended up needing a letter from an attorney, but for a mere address change it might not be that much.

I suggest trying again with email until you get someone real who will respond to you. Or maybe there is some online form you can fill out to get an email response (I think that's what we did).
