Just a Dream Away- The Imagineering Thread*Are you curious, imaginative, dedicated?

I'm going to bet the camera is there to film the expansion.

Security cameras are usually more subtle. Then again, it doesn't really look like the type of camera you'd use to really film something. I guess they'll do like they did for the Disneyland construction videos.

Thanks :] I wanted it to reflect the fact that a lot of what we do is just discuss what's happening in the parks xD

A place to discuss what's going on in the parks is good, and every now & then, we'll discuss our own ideas, like very recently with the mini challenges.

Yep pretty much.
That's why I like this thread.

A lot in the TPAS is dedicated to advice about vacationing, and the TB is all over the place aside from the occasional post about the expansion or "what's your favorite ride?"

I like having a place where I can just talk about the various parks with other people. It's usually just you, me and LE though :p

Ah man I'm a nerd.

I'm wathing my
Disneyland: Secrets, Stories & Magic (Walt Disney Treasures DVD)

And within 5 minutes I'm tearing up - and I've seen this 3 times before - when they show all the phrases "naysayers" said, and then show Disneyland today.

Lingo of the day:

Enhanced Motion Vehicle - EMV

The ride vehicle used in Dinosaur and Indy (the "reaction" vehicle)

I have a challenge. It's vague but necessary considering it only has one major-ride:

Design/blue-sky a ride for Disneyland's Frontierland, using the old Festival of Fools space.

A new miceage article left me wondering.. what do you think of the fact the MK replaced it's west center street with an extension of the Emporium?

Wow, almost half an hour long? That's amazing! Shall watch when i'm able to.

The TRONorail is pretty darn awesome.

I watched the World of Colour and it looks amazing! There were some boring parts where nothing really happened, but I think that's when the water screens appear. I think the scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean to Hellfire were the best part of the show. Did you notice there was no Alice in Wonderland scenes? Wonder why that is.

Yeah the POTC/Hellfire/Night on Bald Mountain scenes were awesome!

Well apparently it wasn't the whole show, just most of the scenes and some encores - but I think Alice is still in it.

You mean it's gonna be longer?!? Wow.

I noticed the huge water screen showing Chernabog. Just how big is it? At first I thought it was a projection on the wheel but it wasn't.

Hey guys :] I was wondering: Are the imagineers in charge of the technical/mechanical parts of the ride/attraction too? I was just curious and I thought you guys might know.
