Do you get Covid and Flu vaccines at the same time?

Last year, I got the flu, covid and RSV vaccines all at the same time, in two arms. Five minutes after driving away from the pharmacy, I started to feel very spacey. It lasted no more than 10 minutes, but feeling spacey while driving is not good.

So this year, I separated the flu and covid vaccines by a couple of weeks. I sat in the waiting room for 15 minutes after each vaccine. I did fine with the flu, but the covid vaccine hit me like a ton of bricks. I've been getting boosters every 6 months since the vaccines came out, except for the past 12 months. I hadn't had a booster since June '24. This year's covid vaccine hit me worse than the first year's version. Fatigue, sore armpit, chills for 3-4 days.

I did something similar with the Tdap and flu… so far no issues! Very minimal impacts if any.

I get both at the same time but last year my mother (91) got them at the same time and had a really bad reaction. She woke up in the middle of the night and got confused. She ended up falling backwards and ended up in the hospital for evaluation. She wasn't normally confused so we're blaming it on a reaction to the shots. Good luck!

I got both in the same arm on Sunday, and my tech was fabulous! I did the moving the arm thing, and had very little soreness. I was definitely tired Sunday night and Monday, but otherwise good.

I had my Covid vaccine about three weeks ago and got my flu shot on Monday. I do not want to get them at the same time, even though they say it’s fine to do so.
