TP2- a thong on the Hanna Montana doll was just too funny. In my day, all the Barbies came without any undies on.... My how times have changed. We are talking about the plastic molds for the doll not having details that outline what the underwear would be if it was actually there right?

I always point out that it is a doll....that way there are no underwear, or body image issues since she isn't real at all. I remember the first time my daughter got a Barbie and I say she had underwear...I found it very funny since I was use to them being naked.

My mom is doing GREAT. She spent two days in ICU and came home today. She is not comfortable but she is doing well. Thanks for all the pixie dust I know it did the trick. The prayers also helped but we all know he created pixie dust for the real believers out there.

Okay, my house is a mess and I am running on next to no sleep, so zzzzz

I hope mky made it out of O'hare. I saw the news and it seemed that getting out was okay, but getting into O'hare wasn't pretty so I do hope she made it.

I am always so dang happy once I'm in the air...until then...call the white coats!

Candi- so happy that your mom is doing well ! I hope she continually makes great progress !

MKY- I was keeping my fingers crossed about her travel day as well...I hope all went smoothly !!

TP2- In my day ....the thong thing would have been a HUGE no no...but of course that was long ago...and having 2 sons...I never had to deal with it....I don`t know how my DDIL would react to it for the princess though...but the notion of not making too much of it seems right for me...Now...Mr. Tomar ...that would be another story ROTFL

EE22-I hope your getting a couple of restful hours this thanksgiving break

My beautiful Perfectly Princess developed Mono and will be confined to stay home with her mommy and daddy this holiday season. ...I will be missing her soooo much...but she has to get better and it takes a longggggg time we know.....DDIL works in a Day Care center with alot of toddlers and PP was going with her...it seems that she caught every little sickness that the little kiddies had...and then some I just wish that it was a different time of the year...we can`t even be around her...soooo Im shop shop shopping for her..and will send her a BIG box full of presents from Grandma and Grandpa..
Dec. 3rd Im actually going back to the cardiologist...I hope and pray that the new tests are all good !!

Tomar - I will pray your results are good when you see the doctor. Sorry to hear the little muffin is not well and I hope she is feeling better soon. Mono may sound like no big deal but it needs to be taken care of. So I am glad they are making sure you don't catch it either.

It will be interesting to hear how MKY made out.

My mom continues to do well and is starting to get her appetite back.

Next I will have her setting her site on a mom and daughter trip (Disney Adventures) to Spain or something. I would like my sister and I and my mom to do a nice trip once she is well enough to travel again.

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and has at least enought turkey left over for a sandwich.

She is actually feeling better these last couple of days ...Thank Goodness ! But ...she has to be away from any sort of germs for a long while...Im hoping that DS & DDIL can take her up to Grandma`s mabe in Feb. !!

Hey everyone: Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Been busy here. Kids have had half days all this week for parent teacher conferences.

That Hannah Montana doll is too much. The thong is actually painted WHITE on her. Can't miss it. I remember them not putting underwear on but at least everything was the same color. This just sticks out and bites you. DH would flip if he saw it. I understand what you mean Tomar. I am taking the wait and see approach. So far no one has mentioned it.

Tomar: I hope all goes well on December 3. So sorry to hear about PP. I know how much you will miss her for the holidays. I was wondering where she caught it from but if your DIL works in daycare that explains it. My oldest went to daycare and was ALWAYS sick. I was off more than I worked. The good news is, she gets it all out of the way now. My oldest is never sick from school. My others, that did not attend daycare, get sick much more often and miss more school.

Candi: So happy to hear that your mom is doing better. Your family trip sounds wonderful.

EE22: You must be busy. Almost time for ADR's.

MKY: Hope you are enjoying your trip. Wonder if you will make it to Gaylord Palms to see Ice. It looks wonderful. Almost worth the trip just to see the holiday display.

TP2...the thong would have put my DH over the edge too. I didn't tell him that recently I had to go up a size for DD in her bras. The man just can't handle that kind of emotion.

I've been very busy and dealing with my EYE AGAIN!!! This time I had an eyelash growing into the eye rather than out but now I think it's all good.

I made massive food again over break and have it all shipped off to different parts of the US. Glad that's done for another year.

Soon we'll be making ADR's.

The Dings for the boys' trip haven't been good for between Christmas and New Year's. Everytime my computer Dings...I think of you

DD and I went to Enchanted. It's very good. LOVED IT!!!

I got good news today for the potassium test I just took...it came back in the normal range..so I hope Im on a roll with the news from Doctors
Monday is the Cardio...I`ll be needing MAJOR pixiedust for that visit !!
The Princess is doing well. ..Thank you ...she is getting back to herself...but just feeling alittle tired during the day...hopfully she`ll be up and running around the house in a week or so. She still has to stay in though..I wish I could hug and Kiss her "All Better"
Im hysterical about the HM thong....Mr. Tomar would.....first..... probably...freak ...then get a brush and paint over it a neutral color !!
We went to see Enchanted as well !! It was a wonderful picture ...

Tomar for your doctors visit and for a quick recovery for the little one too.

Mom is doing well. She cooked dinner for her and dad the other day, so my life just got a little easier.

I am under the 100 day mark for my next trip so that is great news as well.

Hope everyone is doing well and the Christmas shopping is coming along. I take it there are no thongs on your lists to get or buy

Hi guys -

I never did get a chance to come back and report about my 1 night stay in WDW. I have to admit it's just not the same without my family and I can't wait to go back.... (hint check out my ticker)

I ended up staying at the Pop. By the time I tried to book any of the Epcot deluxes all that was left was suites It was okay for a place to lay my head. I don't think I'd be happy staying there for a whole week though.

Looking forward to enjoying a full week at the WL. It is my absolute fave. I've never felt the same walking into any other resort. I guess part of it is that it was our first stay so the memories are just brilliant. Can't wait to see it all "dressed up" for the holidays

Candi: Happy to hear that your mom is doing better.

Minnie: Glad you had a good trip. I know what you mean about it not being the same without your family. My DH and I would fight all the time because I would travel for work and he never had that experience. Socially he would "joke" and say I was on vacation but it would make me furious because there is nothing enjoyable about traveling anywhere without those that you love.

Hope everyone is enjoying the season and getting all their work done. I am wishing I had a trip to plan but it may not happen until 2009. We shall see.

Wanted to Thank you all for the prayers and good wishes for the Doctor yesterday !!

Everything went well...he wants to see me again...(for repeat testing) in 6 months...and hopfully things will improve from the time I was tested in the hospital ....to then !!...He feels that the issues I have (heart and Lung wise ) are treatable...and that`s all that I needed to hear !!!

The Perfectly Princess is doing well too ! ...thank you again for thinking of us !

Candi- Glad to hear Mom is back to cooking up dinner for your Dad !

TP2- Hope you can revisit the world soon too !!

EE22- we`re almost at the 180 mark to make our ressies !!! YIPEE !!!

Well everyone must be very busy Im sure with the holidays right around the corner !!
We actually just sent the Princess her Christmas gifts on friday...Hoping that the Mail is on time....she should recieve her gifts from Gram-ma and Gram-pa this week...YAAY !!
She is feeling much better...as is her gram-ma !!

MKY- I hope that you have a safe flight home ...I was hearing that there was a storm out your way...I pray that it didn`t affect your travel day !
Can`t wait to hear all about your trip !!

Hi Tomar: So glad to hear that you got a good report from the doctor. Makes it easier to sleep at night.

Very busy with the holidays and for some reason everyone around me has asthma now. All the kids I babysit for are on the nebulizer as are 2 of my girls. What is in the air that is making them all so sick. I am just glad to hear that it is others as well and not just those visiting my home. I would think it was something in the house but it seems to be the season.

MKY: Can't wait to hear all about your trip. I just priced out going in August and staying at POR. For a 10 night trip it would be $3400, including the dining plan and tickets. That is with no discounts so maybe if I keep my eyes peeled something will come out.

EE22: Hope all is well by you and the recovery is still progressing.

2 more weeks until break. I can hardly wait.

Wow, I missed you guys. Everytime, saw eeyore shirt thought, that shirt would look great on EE22. Met some people from Canada > and thought, I have a canadian friend. Tomar and TP2> rode home on united and a lady and her family where from the New York area. How she routed threw chicago, I didn't quite understand?

Ok, trip report. Will just do a quickie here:

United > Well horror stories about day before thanksgiving, I was kinda let down. O'hare was 98% on time and with bad weather. Of course we where the 2%. We where 3.5hrs late out of ohare. Due to our plane coming in late from somewhere else? Coming home perfect, got in about 1/2hr early.

National> I LOVE emerald aisle. The quickiest, and easiest. We got a G6 this time with sunroof. Very low mileage. Good pick up.

Saratoga Springs, We did get the Congress Park area. Building closest to DTD entrance. So we where 1 building from the pool. We did swim 1 day there very nice. The 1 brd. villa was very nice. But our dryer sounded like it had rocks in it. Great tub. I didn't mind the location of SSR, but it is very spread out. Which I didn't really like that much. Very quiet, Didn't hear or hardly seen a soul. I will say, I didn't like getting knocked out of bed the first morning with the mousekeeper. Ok, we didn't have a do not disturb sign to hang up, and she didn't know. But doesn't her key not work when she tried it. She pounded for 5 minutes and yelling. When I got to the door, she yelled at me in her native tongue. That was impressive. Otherwise no problems.

Polynesian, Still love the Poly. Got a great room in Samoa building with the volcano pool view and on the 3rd floor with balcony. no issues here, but I missed that tub.

Parks, not to crowded after the thanksgiving weekend over. But the ADR issue remains. If you do not have an ADR forget about eating anywhere but counter service. A few times we changed the Park plan for the day, and could not eat anywhere else. I can go awhile without a visit to Pecos Bills. The Mvmcp, we went to 3. I loved the fireworks, but not the music this time. They used very interesting xmas music. It was ok, but i prefer a more upbeat tempo? Parade did not dissappoint. Our 1st party got rained out. But the next 2 where good weather. Except those where sold out, and crowded. The party date was the only rain day. It got cooler a few days like 75 & 65 (nite) People walking around in parkas? We had short selved shirts. Usually was 80 & 70's. sunny.
Sis, would Not see the laugh floor. Or the Nemo show, so cannot comment on them. The castle lights where wonderful!!!!! We went to the filming day for the parade. That was very overcast day and gloomy. Saw jessica and the dancing with the stars people. Also Joey fatone. But we where not in the "special" filming areas (you needed tickets).

The Best thing about the trip. THE BOUNCE BACK OFFER for august!!!! Well, we decided to drop the cruise this year, and return in august with max (nephew) again. The bounce back started aug 10> but if max goes we have to stay with early aug. Planning to keep aug 1>9 at CR on a pretty good AAA rate, and then the 10th> 16th Poly (cr not available for offer). I am getting the best rate at the Poly, I have had in 3 years. And by going early august> we are squeeking another trip on our AP's!!! Will just have to get max's tix.

The foot> did pretty good. Some pain. I took a few pills. But only on very long park days. We only got to swim once at SSR frog pool and once at Poly. I think it is better in summer when you can swim. Sometimes, we where just tired and wanted to kick back, but it was cooler (by 3pm) and didn't want to swim. So needed more to do. Just wanted to get off foot for a while. We saw enchanted (at the pleasure island amc) too. Was very cute.

Well, I want to check out our pictures from disney, if they aren't too terrible with give you guys the numbers. We got home late friday nite, but I started a great cold on the plane home, and haven't done hardly anything other than unpack.

Hi All. So glad you're home mky!!
The weather in the midwest has been the PITS!!!

I am so busy I don't know which way to turn most days. Conferences were last week, calendar committe, bball games, 5:45 am bball practice and the odds and ends around the house and running errands takes an act of bravery this time of year!!

My mom is now at home she is doing very well.

Hope everyone is well. TP2, hope you get better and those around you...that doesn't sound too great.

I really hope the ice storm doesn't hit here or we are in BIG TROUBLE!!!
