Jumping on the Crocs bandwagon!

My son has the light yellow ones and they really show the dirt. I have been able to clean them very well using a wash cloth and some hand soap. We all four wear them in my family and don't think they are so ugly anymore! Even my 11 year old son wears them all the time, some of the kids made fun of him at first, but then they got used to them and a couple of other boys in his class now wear them. My friend just throws her right in the washing machine. The best thing about Crocs is they wear so well and are unisex so my son can hand his down to little sister!

I bought two pairs of knock off crocs today at Rack Room Shoes...they are Sahara brand and the model is "the Gator" :rotfl: . They look exactly the same and feel the same, too. Same material, not hard. I'll post pics sometime...I got the light yellow and light blue. Best part is, they are having a BOGO 50% off sale, and they were already on sale for $19.99, so I got them for $30!

This is my first try at them...hope they're as good as you all say!

I have three pair of the Beach model and wear them almost daily. My dad always just shakes his head in disbelief when he sees me wearing them! I would love to find someplace locally that has the Athens flipflop as I would like to see if they are as comfortable as the other models.

Do you live in South Florida. Guessing from your "liquid sunshine" reference.
If so both the Dolphin mall and sawgrass mills have a devoted kiosk for Crocs with all styles.
Good luck.

Where is the best place online to buy Crocs? I found one site that had them on sale, I ordered them, never got a shipped email, and weeks later got an email from them that they were out of stock.

If you live near an REI you can order them online at their web site and they will deliver them for free to your nearest REI. That's the way that I did it and I got mine in about 10 days. I wanted them sooner, but the kiosk in our mall only had my size in the really bright colors and I wanted sage or khaki.

I'm the proud owner of a black and red Cayman. Ugly as sin, comfortable as all get go! The one thing that I have found is that sizing is different depending on where they are made. The pairs made in Mexico tend to be slightly smaller. The ones made in the US and China fit the way they are suppose to.

If you order a pair of pink Crocs from the Crocs web site, they'll donate $5 toward Breast Cancer Research. So if you really want a pink pair, here's a chance to make your purchase worth while.

Good grief, those shoes are ug-leee. I get blisters from anything that isn't a sneaker with socks, though.. how do the open-toed ones work for those with bad feet?

Are crocs mainly worn without socks? With socks? With shorts, jeans, other pants? I plan to buy a pair just to try them due to the comments on this site...but I do wonder about whether to wear them with or without socks!

I got mine from Shoe Station http://www.shoestation.com/shoestation/dept.asp?s_id=0&dept_id=3065 and they were wonderful! Shipped fast, no problems. I even ordered a model/color that was unavailable on the Croc's site (Professional model, pearl white) with no complications. I highly recommend them!

OK Ladies, I had asked this over on the community board ..... ANYWAY .... how do I know if crocs are authentic? My mom is vacationing in LV and called asking what I thought was a good price. $25 isn't bad as far as I know.... BUT how do I know or how should I tell my mom to check to make sure that they are not knockoffs?

My daughter and I both have the light pink ones. Her Crocs are a year old and I put them in the washing machine tonight and they look brand new! :goodvibes I also needed to stretch mine because the L was too big and the M was a teeny tiny too snug. I put them in the dryer for a few minutes like someone suggested on this site and wore them around for a while. They fit perfect now! I even have a bit of room. :thanks: for the advice! I am getting ready to pack them up since we are leaving early Friday morning!

I saw some of these at Journeys footwear store today in the mall. I was amazed at how comfy they were! I plan on buying them next week! :)

www.crocs.com is the official company site.

I love my crocs, and my DD8 and I both wear them when we go to the parks. I love Birkenstocks too, but I do like the crocs for WDW better!

Here are her crocs going into the Poly. for breakfast yesterday!!

Thank You for the USA site. They sell them at Dick Sporting Goods. I'll try them on... I have a hard time with fitting shoes. I showed DD9 Your DD's Pink ones. At first she was no way then they started to grow on her. She has very flat feet & wears Birkenstock but needs a back strap on shoes for School. These will be perfect! How was the Trip?

Thanks for all the great advice! I tried some on at Dick's Sporting Goods yesterday. I was embarrassed just trying them on! LOL! They were super ugly, but felt cool. They didn't have the pink ones, so I will have to order them. I have a question though - what is the actual difference between the Beach and Cayman styles? Cayman are just lighter weight?? Which one should I pick?

Carrie

How do you know where your crocs were made? I "assume" mine were made in the USA because they say Boulder, Co. on them.
