OK everybody ... Here I am! Although I have not posted since way back on something like page 5 or 6, I have been keeping up with all of the posts. These boards are great therapy. You know how it is. I think to myself (How many more days until the cruise? Time is sure passing by slowly. I know there are other people like me out there longing for the cruise to get here. I think I'll check the boards. Then, I get my fix.) I don't usually spend enough time on the computer to post a reply. However, since you guys specifically asked about me, I decided to take the time. Not that I ever doubted, but you guys are really nice folks. Thanks for wondering what I have been up to. Well, in short, here is the deal ... Our school has a summer program which gets very busy. In between dealing with that, we vacationed to Disney. Dawn, that would be only the second time in 2003 - once at Easter and again this past June. Confession = We are investigating a November trip to coincide with the Saints-Bucs game in Tampa. My wife Lisa (oops, I think I am supposed to say my DW - right?) wants to do Halloween in Disney since the game is scheduled for November 2. My problem is getting tickets to the game which Lisa could care less about. Anyway, that's what we are looking in to. After Disney, we took a short trip to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama for the 4th of July weekend. Honestly, throughout the weekend we kept talking about how when the beach weekend was over we would be able to start packing for the cruise. One other interesting event has occurred that has created some problems for us with the cruise. The documents never arrived for one member of our party. When I called to inquire, they had the wrong info on her. Although she is a first time cruiser, Disney's computer picked up on another passenger who cruised before with the same name. Her documents were sent to the wrong person. We finally got that corrected (actually WE should have caught it sooner but did not - our fault). Just last week, Disney billed us $59 for changing passengers. Of course, I called right back and explained the problem. They then waived the $59 charge. All in all, it was a minor inconvenience which helped pass the time and gave reason to call Disney. We think it is over with now - unless 2 people with the same name show up at the terminal. Wouldn't that be interesting! On another note, I read that you folks were planning to meet by wearing certain color shirts. Is that the deal or is it still in the planning stages. I am interested in meeting all of you. Perhaps, I'll just stick close to Dawn and leave the details of finding all of you nice folks to her. Ok, Dawn? Well, when I decide to reply to a post, I go on and on. Sorry. See you guys soon. Boy, it feels good to write that! Joey
