July 2016 Rental Car discounts?

Does anyone have any codes from any auto rental places for July? scrolling through this thread, but the Alamo code I saw didn't work. ? Expired? What about Dollar, National, what am i Missing??? need one week starting july 4th. thanks anyone.

How big of a difference is a mid-size to a full-size...?

I currently have a mid-size (upgrade) booked, but if I change my coupon codes I can save $2 on the mid-size or upgrade to full for $13. My kids are 8 and 5, so it's not adults hurting for leg space.

For a difference of $13 more I'd take the full size. I found a Chrysler 300 in the full size isle once, and last year I took a Chrysler 200. Take what you're comfortable in, and driving... You're talking $2 a day?

I just booked one week, July 19-26, $214 for a midsize through Alamo. I used Costco and an upgrade coupon directly through Alamo's site.

I just redid my Alamo reservation - I was able to get $225 for a full-size car for 9 days starting 7/22. I used my Costco rate (7014627), plus a coupon code (AD3868JST), and reserved with my Insiders ID. It was cheaper with Alamo than it was at carrentalsavers.com, but by only a few dollars. The Costco rate allows us the 2nd driver for free, which saves a ton for us. Never let anybody drive the car if they are not on the reservation! That will void any insurance you get from your credit card or trip insurance.

Ah that code worked for me. Got my midsize down from $133 to $129 for 7/13 - 7/16. I was using the One Class Upgrade. So now I'm gonna have to get a full size for $144. Lol.

Just a follow up. The $25 off coupon code worked fine for me. Had a lovely Altima (which a black interior - yikes). Pick up and return were both quick and easy.

I plugged these codes in and it's $4 lower than my carrentalsavers res. I was hoping it was enough to justify a Costco membership since I don't have one. You got a great deal!

just used Costco and AS1 with a $25 off coupon for two compacts and had no problems whatsoever! Rental was from 7/13 to 7/20
