JonBenet Ramsey - a question for those who follow this story

It's touch DNA, it would not hold up. There is a reason for that. I believe the parents touch DNA and fibers from PR's clothes were also found and that doesn't prove they did it either.
The DNA in the underwear was from a blood droplet, not touch DNA. Years later touch DNA was found on the waistband of her long johns. The touch DNA matched the DNA from the blood droplet.

DNA mixed in HER blood. Don't think they know what kind of DNA it is (blood, saliva, skin).

I am glad Dr. Phil had the decency to do the Q&A show to clear up things. His interviews with Burke had me ticked but the Q&A definitely redeemed him a lot. It really ticks me off how much the police started rumors to try to coerce a confession but they never righted those wrongs. So 20 years later the family is still the middle of a media circus with rumors are still flying away. They are owed a huge apology, and much more than they have ever received, from the police. I imagine putting myself in their shoes...having just lost a child and now my life will never be the same because of the mess that came after with the false evidence and automatic assumption of guilt. The police played dirty and didn't do their jobs correctly and this family suffered as a result. I know it is still a possibility but I don't think they did it either. JMO.

You don't think they know if the DNA came from blood, saliva or skin? That's simply not how the processing works.

Mixed source samples are not used for matching because the testing cannot reach determinative levels necessary.

I know, I know, experts on a TV show probably "reviewed the evidence" and said differently. I'll take my evidence straight out of the mouth of the forensic biologist who performed the testing in the lab and has degrees and years of training and experience to back up what they say.

What if. . .John Ramsey had been sexually molesting JonBenet? Patsy suspected this but couldn't prove it, which is why she, on more than one occasion, took her daughter to be examined for possible vaginal infection. What if she was actually looking to the doctor for confirmation of the abuse? Then, she somehow found the proof she needed and instead of becoming angry with her husband, she instead became furious at, and jealous of, JonBenet. Blaming JonBenet for "seducing" her husband, she vented that anger and ended up killing her, not necessarily on purpose, but still. . .

JonBenet's pediatrician and the medical examiner say there was no evidence of previous sexual abuse.

You realize there is no evidence for any of this, right?
Maybe it was aliens or bigfoot... Maybe, now hear me out, maybe aliens were abusing Jonbenet and Patsy was worried someone would find out aliens exist so she killed Jonbenet..
I heard aliens really like pineapple so it would totally make sense that they were having a pineapple snack with her when Patsy snuck downstairs and caught them, flew into a rage and brutually murdered her daughter.

What if . . . they're simply the parents of a murdered child? That's equally plausible, so isn't it cruel to publicly speculate about people in this situation?

Why? There was no evidence of her being abused before the killing.

Coroner Meyer met with Dr. Andy Sirontak, chief of Denver Children’s Child Protection Team. The inspection by Sirontak confirmed what Meyer had observed. Further inspection revealed that the hymen was shriveled and retracted, a sign that JonBenét had been subjected to some type of sexual contact prior to the date of her death. Dr. Sirontak could not provide an opinion as to how old those injuries were or how many times JonBenét may have been assaulted and would defer to the expert opinions of other medical examiners.

As far as I can tell that's not something experts agree on, her being previously abused. The problem with this case is that there's so many rumors and speculation that have been discussed over 20 years. People take these things as fact, especially things that have been repeated in all the books but really they aren't facts.

What if David Hasselhoff, in a drunken stupor, killed JonBenet!

That drivel is as plausible as the drivel you posted.

I too had heard that the doctor who performed the autopsy found forensic evidence of prior sexual abuse. And that if it was true, JB's pediatrician would have to deny it after her death, because otherwise it would mean he failed to report it to social services and he could lose his medical license.

I agree with you, it is a problem because none of us here know the truth. People believe what they want to believe, but really all of us are making judgments based on information we have heard and read as fact.

Emotionally, I have a problem with someone, whoever that someone may be, getting away with murder. I don't know who killed her, but my gut feeling is that if it was an intruder it was someone known to the family, not a stranger. Which means this person betrayed the trust of an innocent 6 year old, and that breaks my heart.

I know one of the shows I saw this past week said the medical examiner said he didn't find evidence. Of course there have been so many shows I don't know which one it was.

I think the big problem with the sexual abuse claims and theories is that it comes from the same false leaks from the police. They found evidence of abuse in the murder and ran from there. The evidence of previous abuse appears flimsy but they leaked it and let the press run with it. it a day to run with given the pageant videos and pictures. Because of that it's become part of the narrative and it's easy to say it's a cover-up because her doctor missed it. That's the big problem with the whole thing. There was too much leaked information that was false but the fact that it's false or not proven gets lost so it became rumor and rumors get confused with reality. Books get written based on those rumors and it becomes facts because this expert and that expert said this and that. It's all for money though. Nobody is profiting from books which say she wasn't abused and the parents weren't involved in the murder. People want to believe these things because that's what they heard from the start.

From everything I've read and studied....there is no doubt in my mind this child was molested. Not necessarily with the murder but prior. No doubt. From multiple autopsies and experts. This was an inside job, no intruder....thone in the house know what happened. Love Burke admitting to Dr Phil he was downstairs that night after a newhile toy and that he was put to bed by flashlight.

And let's not forget the nude 3 yr old photo of JB in the parents room wearing only a boa that was "taken down"...and the elder college son who's items were a semen stained comfortor and the adult sexual Dr Suess book in the "suitcase". Also Jon Ramsey and a "photo shrine" to his eldest daughter who died in the bathroom.

I thought she died in a car wreck......But if you're certain she died in the bathroom, who am I to question it?

She did die in a car accident.

Comments like those above are the comments the police wanted & the type of comments they and others who wanted to bury the Ramseys made. "I knew in my heart..." "No doubt in my mind..." etc. It's hard to blame people for picking up on & believing the lies that were fed to the media by the police. However, the most recent round of reporting has debunked a lot of these false claims & it's pretty clear that the possibility of an intruder is entirely viable, and quite likely, in my opinion.

Unless you were present during the murder and/or witnessed sexual abuse with your own eyes, there SHOULD be "doubt in your mind."

MTE. I don't believe the Ramseys were involved but I would never say I have no doubt. Because I wasn't there. The only information I have is from the media.
