Jodi Arias Trial Part 8 EXTREME CRUELTY: PROVEN

I don't get why they say she is "facing a mandatory life sentence". We all know that if she gets "Life", it will be up to the judge to decide whether it's LWOP or LWP - definitely NOT the same thing.

I heard a little on NG tonight that there was some consideration of a plea deal for 20 years. That's ridiculous. The prosecution knows that she will get at least that. The only plea deal would be for LWOP (and I would definitely agree to that if I were them).

The only deal they would ever give her would be LWOP. The prosecution does not want her walking.

If she would agree to LWOP, and the family can accept it, it could save a lot of heartache. I can't imagine the family sitting through another mini-trial penalty phase.

I hope they find some peace today knowing she is convicted.

I think if everyone could agree to a LWOP it would probably be for the better.

I agree. I would much rather go with that than chance the judge going with LWOP. I know people don't think that would happen, but I wouldn't want to take the chance.

Just watched more of NG. I think the part that I saw was her trying to add more drama to the situation (I know, what a shock ). If there's a plea agreement, I think it would be natural life, and if I were the family, I would want to accept that. She would be locked up forever.

Glad to hear that the appellate court rejected her appeal to take the DP off the table though. Good for her and the DT to hear.

Today it has been 5 years since my sweet brother was taken out of this life and our hearts are crushed and sadden by the horrible reminder of this day. Although the pain is still as fresh as it was 5 years ago , at least we know that Justice is near and we will soon have some closure.

I miss and love Travy so very much! I hope someday not to be haunted with the anger I have inside of me for the one who has caused my family to hurt like this . I know Travis doesn't feel anymore pain and he is with Our Heavenly Father and Our Savior Jesus Christ. I just can't get out of my mind what he was thinking and how scared he must of been on that horrible night.

Okay, watching Kathy Griffin's special tonight on Bravo and the first bit is about Jodi.

Apparently, she says that Jodi is following her on twitter. So she begins her bit about what Jodi did to her boyfriend.

And here I was correcting her in a dead flat voice.
Kathy: "She shot him in the head twice."
Me: "Once."

So on and so on. Never laughing once.

Ugh...I hate that she really didn't do her research. Then she read off some of the jurors' questions. Eh.

I surprised myself that I didn't giggle. I did the rest of her set, but that part, I was just correcting her. Go figure.

I watched NG too, I think they are losing viewers because there is nothing new for people tune in for. So good ol' NG made it seem like so much more than it is/was.

She is such a dingbat sometimes! Of course the Pros. Attry. has to consider any plea deal, but that doesn't mean they have to accept it.

By the way, the AZ Supreme Court didn't deny the Defense's appeal to take the DP off the table, they declined to hear it, I'm betting we'll hear more about it again.
