Me too! Which resort in Disney are you staying at? I'm so excited, I haven't been to Disneyworld in over 11 years...and I'm a first time cruiser! Concentrating on finals seems impossible right now. (still in school)

We are staying at Port Orleans. Where are you staying? Yay on your first cruise!!!!

I just had a panic attack about NOT being ready! Nothing packed! No clothes for formal or semi- nights! Need new swimsuits! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Beach Club. I love being walking distance from my two favorite parks

I think my biggest fear about this cruise is how much weight I'm going to gain! Is there a track onboard? Or at least a good place to go running where you wont trip over kids? I dont want to accidentally hurt anyone.

Look no further than the VIsta Spa
You can even watch tv from the treadmill (bring you own Ipod headphones) ......best view is the (what I call it) "Bow channel".....in another words, a camera view from the ships bow.

And yes, there is even a track (3 times around = one mile)
its located on deck 4 (its fun jogging on the track at night).


Meaning go out and jog ...then look out into the pitch blackness of the ocean......then try looking back onto the track......your whole sense of balance will get thrown off.


But hey...seriously, the track is very peacefull to be on also early in the am as well.




ANYWHO -
You will be seeing me at either one of these places a lot cuz cruising is fun but WHOAH!!!!

Dem pesky "Lava Cakes" at Palo aren't filled with zero calories!!


....and I am going to Palo for the very first time.

It is all set for:

date: day of embarkation day.
Where: Promennade Lounge.

Promenade Lounge is a 104-seat lounge located on Deck 3, Aft situated off the elevator lobby on the Disney Magic. Open from approximately noon to midnight daily, Promenade Lounge is the perfect place for families to enjoy a refreshing beverage or snack, surf the Internet or partake in fun activities that occur throughout the day.

TIME:

The overall opinion is to have a rolling" DISmeets; meaning say around 2:3opm ish until about 3;30pm - this way, people can come and go and not feel pinned in to a specific time (like 3-3:30pm). And yes, I feel the "Adventures Away" party kicks in at 4:30pm (right after the boat drill).


ALSO - to those who would like to engage in a little bit of Disney pin trading during this time, feel free to bring a few pins as this is also a wonderful way to inneract with your fellow DISser.

FYI - there is a time change for us when we arrive into Cozumel - please be sure and set yer clocks BACK one hour.

Ok....I have sent am email to the hotel where I will be staying but they havent answered me back yet.


So, I thought I would reprint some of the email out to all of you in hopes there is a kind soul out there who knows some of ther answers to my Goofy questions so I can move my NYC adventure a little but forward.

Also, how far away is the West, East Village, Hells Kitchen areas?? Approx how much for a round trip for a taxi from each location...from the Sheraton hotel (I am trying to set up some add on's for Sept 5th and Sept 10th).

Hey maybe we can hook up during our embarkment meet up!
I doubt that my daughter Kim (14) will be with me, but ya just never know. It is our 5th cruise with DCL and she knows her way around and what she will be doing (and it doesn't look like it'll be with us!) lol.
I am just getting my FEs ready as we are leaving Ontario on the 1st and will be staying in Florida and then heading to Port Canaveral the night before our cruise. we are staying overnight at the Marriott Residence Inn hotel. It has a hertz drop off and we'll catch their shuttle to the port.

can't wait..........
