January 2014 discount watch!!

6-8 days would be Friday-Sunday though, right? I looked at the historical releases on MS and it seems that the DV RO discount for January 2012 was released on a Friday (9/30/11)

I really hope they don't skip DV this time around

Remember...the day they may release the promo may not be the day that you can book. They can release a promo on a saturday but it may not be bookable until until the tuesday (just an example)

Hmmmm....interesting. WL was the deluxe resort we were eyeing for this trip, and of course it's only listed at 25% compared to 35% at the other deluxes. I was afraid that might happen. If this info holds true, the savings difference would probably push POR to the top of our list.

Just curious...is this new info or copied from last year?

I wonder if it is because they are filled because of multiple big conventions so they have no need to fill empty rooms.

This was based off the promo for 2013. I don't have the exact details for 2014 yet. I was advised that there may be some changes. don't get your hopes up yet!

Hoping that CR offers a discount. Won't be able to afford a split stay TPV without it. Sorta had my hopes up, but if I can't, will just enjoy AOA for the week (Poly construction scares me, but I've heard great things about Wishes from the beach).

Oh man I was counting on POFQ discount and it appears from previous posts it may not even be a discounted resort! I booked for late Jan 2014 in anticipation....wondering if I should bite the bullet and switch to Riverside in hopes of the discount. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't make any changes until the offer comes out. Nothing for 2014 has been posted. These are going off 2013 offers. Exclusions and inclusions aren't set in stone yet. You're going to have to call to apply the discount anyway. Might as well wait and either use that same call to add it or change resorts.
