Yay! But also Nooo! I'll be out of town next Friday-Sunday. If they come out on Saturday I may have make the call while I'm literally running my half marathon

So, side question... when we find what day the discounts are released, how early can we call and how long should I expect to be on the phone?

I don't remember these deals ever coming out on weekends, especially not Saturday or Sunday. They don't want the extra calls/hours on the weekends, and travel agents also aren't generally opened then. I don't ever remember a Friday either. I think you're safe!

All of the promotional press kits were printed months ago for the above 2 promo's. These are the same promo's that were released via pin already.
Disney Visa will be out in about 6-8 days.

Do we know yet if there are any resort exclusions for the room discount promo? And what about the percentages for deluxe/moderate/value? Hopefully someone who has received a pin can chime in? Or will the pin exclusions and percentages differ from the general offer? Thanks!

They can differ. Probably up to 30%, similar to this latest RO offer.

Last I spoke with a CS they told me to watch very closely in the beginning of October. So I would assume the DV discounts will come in the next two weeks followed by the public.

They skipped the Disney Visa offer on the fall packages, don't be surprised if there is no DV offer for winter.

6-8 days would be Friday-Sunday though, right? I looked at the historical releases on MS and it seems that the DV RO discount for January 2012 was released on a Friday (9/30/11)

I really hope they don't skip DV this time around

Fall discount going GP without DV offer is very common. Historically all other discount periods will have DV offer.

Yeah there were free dining pins last year because we got one for our March trip.

Yes but pins have already gone out with the SPD deal. I doubt they'd do 2 types of dining discount pins at once.

I don't know - I didn't see that post. All the room only offers released this year have been tiered so it would be 'up to 35% off' and vary based on resort/room type. Very doubtful it would be 35% across the board, IMO. All I said was that it would be similar

called they can book without discounts, I couldn't even get a AAA discount!! I'd say maybe mid 2014 we may see discounts for LM AOA but maybe not too. I just know I want to stay there but have no reason to want to pay more when I can just visit from other side of lake

It will be interesting to see if they exclude the same resorts for s/p/d that were excluded for the fall FD'ing offer (POFQ, AS Movies, AoA)....hopefully not!!
