Ahhh to be a Dink.. I am a Oaahiwk (One and a half income with kids).

We are going actually more in Feb than January, but we start our trip on Jan 31!!!

We usually go in September so I cannot believe I will have to worry about snow at my home airport and not what Hurricanes are in the Atlantic!

We are noiw going January 10-18 and staying at CBR pirate rooms... just to save a little cash! My boys will love it I already know and we're going to rent a car to avoid any bus hassle and have a little more freedom...
No more changes because i'm afraid my TA may fire ME if I keep making changes

I just wanted to say that we stayed at CBR and I was so scared about the buses because of what has been said on the boards BUT we had not one single problem Only one night after the fireworks it was a bit crowed but we all got seats We waited at the most 4 mins for buses - we NEVER waited for a bus at the parks! Just thought I would give you my opinion - not that you asked

We've stayed CBR 3 times now and haven't had issues with buses either. Maybe we've just gotten lucky! Since having kids though we have started driving to all the parks (except MK). It's just easier for us to drive than to get on a bus with 2 tired kids, strollers and backpacks.

I just read over on the restaurants board that it has been officially announced that Crystal Palce will be closed for refurb Jan3- Feb 13, 2010! Darn, that was kids #1 ADR request! I really hope there will be something to replace it!

Oh, no...I think I wanted to go there more than my kids did!!! This is our first - probably last trip to WDW. Any suggestions out there for something to replace? Is that normal or is it just closed and that is that.

GRRR! That means I will have more difficulty making my Chef Mickey's reservation when the time comes. Will the 90 mark hurry up? The anticipation is KILLING ME!!!!!
The year has flown by, up until I decided to start planning for this trip.

There is some speculation that perhaps Liberty Tree Tavern will host a character meal during the refurb. No details have been released yet! Let's stay tuned!

OMG !!! My favorite morning ressie - empty mainstreet!!! I guess I may have to book CRT for breakfast - I wanted lunch - But I am sure every meal will be booked??? CRT is still booking 90 days out right???
I feel so lost with 90 day bookings?

EVERYTHING is at 90 days until Oct 27th when it ALL switches back to 180 days! Lucky Me! I get to make my ADRs on the same day that it switches back! Can you say YIKES!!!

I just book airfare tonight for a trip January 16th-20th!! I was so excited that Southwest had great deals come out. Now if a good room rate comes out. All I know is I have airfare, so we have to go somewhere in Orlando. We went 5 years ago in January and it was freezing and we had to buy sweat pants for everone. I am hoping for days in the 70's like others have experienced. Actually, it will be good no matter the weather. Does anyone know if they are having the Pirate and Priness party anymore?

Is that true about CP?! Oh no, I'm heartbroken! My number one goal for our upcoming trip was to have breakfast on my birthday there! I wanted a really festive birthday celebration and a pic with Eeyore, my favorite. That's such horrible news.

Details are still being worked out, but we’ve heard from multiple, usually-reliable sources that Disney’s Buy-4-Get-7 deal will return next week. The announcement may be made as early as Monday, but could be as late as Thursday. Value resorts will have a slightly different “Buy-5-Get-2″ deal. Travel dates, we hear, could be October 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010. Book by December 20, 2009 (we think that’ll be extended). And you must purchase Magic Your Way tickets to match the number of nights of your stay.
