Details are still being worked out, but we’ve heard from multiple, usually-reliable sources that Disney’s Buy-4-Get-7 deal will return next week. The announcement may be made as early as Monday, but could be as late as Thursday. Value resorts will have a slightly different “Buy-5-Get-2″ deal. Travel dates, we hear, could be October 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010. Book by December 20, 2009 (we think that’ll be extended). And you must purchase Magic Your Way tickets to match the number of nights of your stay.

WOW ! I am going to be on the look out for that offer....
How great would that be for all of us going early 2010 ?

Hello Snowbirds!

After my amazing trip last January I've decided to book another January trip and beat the crowds and heat!

I'm so glad there is another snowbird thread to help the time pass quickly!

My dates are Jan 24-29th, staying at Boardwalk.

As of right now I'm traveling mostly solo, so if anyone knows of other solo travelers during those dates I would love to plan a get together!

Looking forward to four months of pre-WDW excitement with everyone!

After reading about the rumored new deal, I'm considering staying at a moderate this time around. I worked out the numbers between a value and moderate and it's close enough to justify the extra cost to go up a level. Now I just have to decide *if* I do this, what moderate to stay at? I was looking at CBR but I need to check out the others too. I need more time to plan!!!! We're leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow morning (vow renewal) so I hope any deal waits until at least Tuesday to come out.

That little tid bit of information hasn't been included in the "what if's" yet. So we don't know. Of course...it is all a "what if" at this point. I'm still hoping for the free dining, but my hope is disappearing fast!

I'm dancing with the rest of you. Booked the Boardwalk for Feb 13-19th. I wish that the date for booking 180 days out was sooner then the 27th of Oct. I'm very impatient.

Just found this thread. Another Canadian here.
We will be at AKV (Kidani) from Jan 7th through the 17th.
We are very excited about this trip. I will be running my first Goofy! My DH and two DS (11 and 7) will be running their first 5K.
We are also bringing my cousin on her first trip to Disney.
We love going in January!!

I'm going for 8 nights/9 days so here's how I did it:

8 nights w/9 day Park Hopper at ASMu (standard room) $1087
5/2 deal would make it roughly $817.00

8 nights w/9 day Park Hopper at CBR (standard room) $1686
4/3 deal would make it roughly $1056

Difference to stay at a moderate $239.00

I hope that makes sense and that I did it right based on what we know of the rumored deal.

We will be there the exact same time you will be there!! We are staying at POP however...I would love to do some planning...I am so upset right now that CP is going to be closed when we are there...I have never been before and I was really wanting to go for dinner ( I found out that my great grampa loved that restaurant, and he always loved going there...so I wanted to go...but now I need to change the plan.

I would take a look at last year's hours. They will most likely be the same. Even in December they are pretty similar to last year's, and no, they did not add back more Fantasmic dates!
Did I read somewhere that when ADRs go back to 180, the park hours will also be released at 180 days? So maybe you won't have to wait much longer - October is next week already!!

Sheree...they are going back to 180...of course it's after we nearly killed ourselves!!!!! Suppose to be Oct 27, but I read that it could be tomorrow.....but I have also read that tomorrow could be the Jan deals. So....we will see tomorrow!!!!!
