She gave me an AWSOME rate for January, club level poly of $249 per night so really, thank you, thank you!!

Also, she mentioned that they have ben very busy these last couple of weeks and I did tell her that I got her name from here.

Family of five, heading over for our first visit January 2 til January 9 or 10. Not sure on location, undecided, unsure, and more than a little confused! Leaning towards Pop or possible CBR! I'm sure DH will give me a good push soon.

Our original plan was for the Poly and if the discounts are amazingly good they may still be but in the time being i'm trying to decide between two moderates to save a little $$$$ the CBR pirate rooms (2 boys in a pirate room no brainer right! ) or POFQ (are beignets really a good enough reason to stay at a hotel... why yes, yes they are! ) and since my TA seems to be a little busy i've got too much time to ponder over the decision than I should! I could definitely use the 1/10 crowds help if you're willing to give some input!

Are we allowed to post UG crowd levels on the DIS? I'm buying my UG 2010 edition this weekend. If we are allowed to post them, I can add them for the whole month so everyone can see their crowd level for their dates. Anyone know if that's allowed?

Congrats on it being your first visit! I can highly recommend CBR No matter where you stay you're going to have a blast!

No worries! You are a very busy lady with many things on the go - a small oversight is completely forgivable! We really wanted to do the 23-30th but we just couldn't make it work with the airfare! Don't worry - we will definitely hook up at some time!

So we're headed to the world for the Marathon - Jan 7 - 16 - found out last year we needed time to recuperate and then enjoy Disney - last time '08 we didnt take dd but only went for a long weekend - that Half nearly killed me, but this one may finish the job!!

I was doing a search for an excel spreadsheet - and this thread popped up!!

I love to plan, and avoid training (i would say "running" but what I do is more like a walk/jog - wog!) so I spend time on the Dis - look what the forum here helped me to accomplish:

There is a whole thread on Disney Tips - on just tie dye the MM tie dye!

I like to wog too Your tye dye shirts are amazing! I love those creative forums- they're so inspiring! I'm thinking of making our autograph book for the next trip. Some of the DISigners have some awesome pages for them. Last time we took a photo mat and had it signed. When we got home I put a pic from our trip in it. It turned out really nice! Oh no I think I may have been bitten by the creative bug now!!!!!

I extended my trip by one day! So now my dates are Jan 6th - Jan 14th! Hubby encouraged me to add a day since I'll be going to Discovery Cove one day. He knows how I get if I don't get enough days at WDW. Still not sure where to stay. I know it'll be a Value resort. I stayed at ASMu in Jan and that was fine. I need to make those reservations soon. I wish I had more time to plan!!!

I booked a package but without the trip insurance so I can get my money back if we have to cancel. Trip insurance is nonrefundable if you cancel.

You can change or cancel your reservation without penalty up until 45 days in advance. From 7 to 44 days in advance, there is a cancellation fee of $100. If you cancel 6 days or less in advance, you pay a $200 penalty. Any changes that result in a rate change, such as applying a discount code, reducing number of days and/or changing to a differently-priced resort, made 45 days or less prior to arrival, are subject to a $50 fee.

I know last year when the 4/3 came out, I had NO trouble booking a 4/3 package. I only had a room only ressie at the time. I remember hearing that some that didn't have a package or room only ressie had trouble with getting the 4/3 at certain hotels.

He has no idea it is his birthday/christmas gift from his Dad & I. Poor kid's b-day is 12/26. But I was lucky and received a bonus from work so that is covering most of it! Of course, if a good deal comes out it might cover it all (fingers crossed). I just hope his 1st grade teacher is ok with it. . . .

MY DS4 bday is 12/26 too!! i'm glad i'm not the only one taking their child for a late bday celebration.. i just could not justify the extra cost to be there for his bday!
