Would it be OK if I just delivered when I can instead of an assigned time. I usually get up before everyone else in my family and I use that time to run FE deliveries and then get a Latte and watch the sun rise. This way I can deliver what I can carry each morning and not have to stress about not getting to all the rooms in one day.

Welcome! We have cat 12 GTY, and we were upgraded, but we got a cat 10 this cruise. Our last cruise in May we were upgraded to a cat 9 oceanview on deck 1 and loved it.

Honestly, we're just happy to be on the boat! I've been watching the weather in Nassau - It was 80 degrees yesterday!

Hello fellow cruisers!

We just booked this cruise about 10 days ago and rearranged our DVC vacation to do the cruise. My DH and I are certified DINKS, but love to cruise Disney. We will be celebrating our Birthdays which are both in January.

Any of you who are Cat. 12gty might want to check your room assignment. We were upgraded to a Cat.9 - Oceanview!!! I am doing the happy dance!

We were going to deliver on the first and the second nights.

I recommend that, if people chose to deliver on Wednesday, that they be prepared to deliver early in the day - before noon. Wednesday night gets crazy with the "Till We Meet Again" and everybody packing up to get their stuff out in the hallway on time.

No sign up is fine by me. We love surprises. Since this is our first cruise, I was a little nervous about picking a "time" since I'm not sure what to expect.

I think as long as we have at least one or two people sign up for each day..then we will be good. If there are others that are worried about timing, you can sign as up as a TBA. IF we have at least a couple families sign up for each day..then we can get the kids to believe that Tinker Bell (or Peter Pan)is visiting them everyday...My kids would be disappointed if they didnt get a tinker bell gift everyday..they look forward to it and check the cabin multiple times each day looking for their suprise

Hello Everyone!

We will be joining you all! It is my DH, myself (celebrating a birthday), and DS (5). This is our first cruise. I have lots of questions. But let me intro first. We are interested in getting in on the FE gifts, also. We are in room #2042. We are new DVC'ers. We are arriving on the 16th and staying a night at OKW. Then renting a car for the port. My parents will be meeting up at the port on arrival to take us to AKL Villas. I am getting ready to book a rental car next. Any advice?

Wow! Only about 2 weeks until we leave and haven't yet figured out how to tell the kids!!! Would like to do some kind of scavenger hunt over the weekend but need some ideas???? Anyone have any great hints on how to tell them???

we told our kids on Christmas morning and I had a "pirate chest" with all sorts of pirate themed goodies in the chest. I also made them each a journal highlighting the beginning to the end of the cruise that they can fill in the blanks. In the chest I also made a poem that invited them on the cruise. They were really surprised!

Long time no post!!! I'm so sorry! With the holidays and hosting a LOT of people and then travel to see family, it's been very busy. We have our cabin numbers - 5022 and 5024. Our FE will be on one of those doors. I don't know which yet.

Hey! We ordered tshirts through Disney and Zazzle.com. I'm going to set them out the morning of our first cruise (1/14). They say, "My parents surprised me today with a Disney Cruise!" Dh's and my shirts say, "We surprised our kids with a Disney cruise today!" Should be fun!!!!

Funny thing I found out today. I was telling Grady (DS) that one of his friends from Tae Kwon Do is going to be on our cruise and he says, "I know and a boy from my class will be on it too!"

I was so shocked. I guess a lot of families from our school are taking advantage of the 2 day school week to take a vacation.

I'm about 1/2 way packed and I'm going to be working on FE gifts today!

We're getting so excited! The weather is in the 20's, so I'm looking forward to thawing out in the Bahamas! Even if it's chilly - it will be warmer than NC right now.
