Perfect timing Mommy Poppins. I was hoping to finish up FE gifts and pack them away today.

Weather.com shows a warming trend on the 10 day forcast. Orlando....currently having highs in 50's and lows in 30's...looks to be in upper 60's by the 14th. Nassua shows upper 70's by the 14th. Let's hope the trend continues for the week were there! They only show till 14th now...I keep checking each day.

For those of us who are new to the Fish Extender (FE) gifts, can someone please clarify who we are supposed to provide gifts for? Are they only for the kids or for adults as well?

We assume these are for the kids, but we've seen pictures of various FE's, some having pouches just for the kids and others have pouches for both the adults and the kids. Need to know how many to bring so we don't end up short!

We made up baggies that contain something for the adults and something for the kids. Whatever you do will be fine. In the past, we have received everything from small bottles of alcohol, to ink pins to beach balls. It's all in fun -- no pressure.

At this point, only 8 of the 17 participating cabins have agreed to deliver on a specific day. If anyone else would like to commit to a particular day (not required), please add your names to the Delivery Days list. If anyone has any other additions/changes to the above info, please do so ASAP so that we can plan/pack accordingly. Thanks!

For those of you who are staying at the Country Inn & Suites - I was able to book that hotel for the night before the cruise on Priceline at $49 ($62 with taxes). For me, that was a savings of $70 compared to my original booking!!

There is a thread on the Disboards that explains what to do. You choose a 2.5 star hotel in the Cape Canaveral area. From my understanding, they book the priceline reservations in a family suite (first come, first served) - which was what I originally booked.

we will be there this Saturday night as well and we booked through priceline. I paid $50 for my room. Do you mean they book first come first serve as far as when we booked with priceline or when we show up? I really don't care as long as we have enough for all of us to sleep. I called them and she said something about suite so I guess. We will decide on booking the shuttle to and from the port once we are there. It all depends on how early they are back at the port when we get off the ship because we are in a hurry that last day to get to WDW.

I assume it's when you booked with Priceline, but the specifics weren't mentioned. Our flight doesn't come in until about 7:30pm, so we don't care if it's a regular room.

How are you 100% sure that the hotel is Country Inn and Suites when you book through Priceline? I thought you couldn't actually pick your hotel. I have a room booked for next week, but I hesitate to try and go through Priceline. In addition, we have 3 adults and 2 children and I don't see anyplace to put in how many people you have before the bid process. I would hate to end up in another hotel without the cruise parking being available.

You're correct, I wasn't able to pick the hotel or put in the number of guests. However, from reading some of the threads, I assumed Country Inn & Suites was the only 2.5 star hotel in the Cape Canaveral area. I guess I was taking a chance, but I have never booked through Priceline, and I wanted to try it.

WE have a problem!! I am confused...how did we end up with 17 or 18 families in the FE?? Since we closed it on Nov 14th...I went and bought all my FE stuff back then. I only have enough for 15 families and I dont have time to go back out and buy more stuff!!!
Did I just count wrong??
If we do have more people that just signed on after the deadline date...then I might need to ask the newbies not to include us in their trade...since we can only give gifts to 15...thoughts??

The same here. We only did enough for 15 families. Since they were somewhat custom made I don't have the time to do more. I'm with you that I'll have to ask to be left off the newbie list.
