Jackie and Chris's Wishes Wedding 1/6/12: SBP/Attic/SCP 5/11 Final Post- PJ Finished

I've been reading along with your TR and just wanted to say hi! I've really enjoyed it and can't wait to read more :)

Hi! Sorry I missed your comment yesterday: I think you made it while I was writing!

Giant fail for their disorganization! Wicked poopy. I'd be super stressing for fear of being late.

But yay for learning new things!

Wait, each pair of glasses gets used 7-8 times THEN gets washed, or gets washed each time and only survives 7-8 washes? The germaphobe in me is usually limited only to handrails and what not, but this could be a problem.

I am SO looking forward to getting my parents to try Beverly. I was telling them about the free drinks this morning, but I purposely left Beverly out. Some things are best left as surprises.

And I love your shirt. It's super cute!

Oh, I was so stressed. I'm usually high strung when it comes to things I've spent a lot of money on. I had a flashback to when the monorail was SO SLOW for us when it was time for our Planning Session.

GAH! Apparently, spring break has rendered me unable to write a sentence.
Each pair of glasses is washed after each time, and each pair of glasses lasts 7-8 washings. Whew. There we go.

Have your parents never been to the World?! I'm just curious if you're another Disney fan with non-Disney parents like me.

-Woo that sounds like a headache getting the tour started. They should make that easier to figure out.
-You should have blown that lady's mind by telling her about Oswald.
-If you had told me I would get to touch the ball, and then said jk, I'd have been pissed.
- Josh/Brad
-AAAHHHHHH the hand!!! I am both repulsed and fascinated!
-Ok, so I know you're not interested, but that is gross that WDW reuses 3D glasses. At DL we washed them after 1 use. I can't tell you how many hours of my life I spent sorting 3D glasses into trays, loading them into carts, and pushing them over to the cleaning facility.
-I miss Living with the Land! I love it!

HA! I should have told her about Oswald. Maybe she would have fainted. And THANK YOU for having the same reaction about touching SSE. Chris and I felt a little foolish, but we were ready to get on the ladder and go up there. And, re:glasses, see my comment above: they are re-washed! That would be gross if they weren't.

I love the vest (UK word?) top you were wearing in MK. I can see no problem what so ever with taking a flatbread out to watch the fireworks at CG and I am one classy girl :rolleyes1.

That is one BIG lemon :lmao: what more is there to say!

LOL! I should have taken a piece of it. :) And thank you!

Aww I'm so sorry your tour ended up being such a pain!

Eh, Chris and I still had a blast. In retrospect, I think our tour guide seemed even worse because the one we had for Keys to the Kingdom was so good!

Honeymoon: Day 3, Part 2

A few things before we get started:
*I've been working on my wedding scrapbook. Would anyone be interested in seeing it? Should I post pictures when it's complete?
*I hope I didn't make it sound like we didn't have fun on Undiscovered Future World: we did! Chris and I, as you may have guessed, have snarky senses of humor, and we enjoyed trying to figure out why Brad was oh-so-sad. The tour wasn't terrific, but we still had fun! (And, hey, who wants to go ride Test Track when they could go see where those 3D glasses are washed?!?)

All right: on with it!

Before we left the room for DHS, I snapped this picture of what I had dubbed my "wedding shrine."

DSCN0435.jpg

Unfortunately, I was unable to put my bouquet in water. I tried it one day, and then I came back to a very wet kitchenette counter. :lmao: I liked seeing her on the counter with all of my other wedding goodies though.

We walked to the Contemporary's main concourse, and the DVC Rep, Kennedy, said hello as we walked by. We stopped and chatted with him for awhile; he said he had noticed us coming out of BLT and, of course, were we members? We explained that we were, sort of, but that we had the benefits of DVC ownership but without the cost! We joked with him for awhile and told him about our wedding, and he gave me a few rows of Aulani stickers.

We had talked with Kennedy for too long though, and so we were now running late for our reservation! Thankfully, a bus arrived shortly, but then we had to go to the Poly and the GF. (I still can't believe that people pay so much for these deluxe hotels and then they don't even get their own buses! Thankfully, the Contemporary is first on the loop so we never had a problem getting a seat. I'm clumsy, standing does not work out so well for me.)

We arrived to DHS just in time and, thankfully, the park is rather small. Our reservation was at Hollywood Brown Derby, so it's not like we had just arrived at Epcot and had to trek it over to Tutto Italia. We arrived just in time for our reservation, and we had a seat on their plush couches in the waiting area.

I was looking forward to this reservation so much. I had wanted to eat there for ages because I had only heard good things, but we had always been on the dining plan and didn't want to spend the two credits on it. I will, however, never do the dining plan again--- but that's a rant for another time. We were seated quickly...

... and to my surprise, we were given an amazing table! We were given one a large curved booths, so we were able to sit next to one another and look over the restaurant. No crappy little half booth for us tonight!

DSCN0450.jpg

The Brown Derby had one of the more interesting drink menus out of any of the places we had been to thus far. Chris and I each ordered something; I am fairly certain he ordered an Open Audition, but I can't for the life of me remember what I got. It was either a sangria or a peach tree punch. I hope it was the peach tree punch, that sounds yummy.

DSCN0448.jpg

(On a side note, I usually order sangria wherever we go because I know I will like it enough to drink it. I have ordered so many cocktails that were too strong or too sour or too something, and I hate spending $10 on something I don't like!)

After the drinks came, I promptly managed to spill water all over myself and the table. :lmao: I had pulled the tablecloth back, and my water glass came back with the cloth... oops! It was slightly embarrassing, but we were cleaned up within a few minutes. Thankfully, my dress was black and fairly water resistant! (And, even more thankfully, it was water and not the alcohol!)

Our entrees came. Chris, as per usual, ordered a steak--- a filet this time.

DSCN0453.jpg

And I had chicken that was stuffed with ham, cheese, and spinach.

DSCN0452.jpg

My chicken was so tasty! It was a little chilly that night, so it was a perfect comfort-type meal, while still being slightly fancy. Chris said his steak was good too, but it wasn't as good as the bison.

Even though I was stuffed from dinner, I just had to order the grapefruit cake for dessert. I had seen it on so many of those Disney travel shows, and Samantha Brown is always raving about it. I'm not really a fan of grapefruit, but I gave it a chance.

DSCN0454.jpg

And I am so glad I gave it a chance! The cake itself is a light yellow cake, and the frosting is citrusy. It was light and fluffy, and a perfect ending to our meal. This was definitely one of my favorite desserts on our trip, and I like that you can't get it anywhere else. I will certainly be back to the Brown Derby in the future!

During dessert, our server brought us two glasses of complimentary champagne. We were starting to get spoiled!

As we were leaving, the men who were sitting at the table across from our deluxe booth stopped us. Admittedly, I had been trying to figure out if they were a couple all night: they were obviously gay, but they didn't seem romantically involved. One of them had the grapefruit cake and I asked him if he liked it, and he told me he had come there just for the cake because he had seen it on the travel shows: a man after my own heart! He told us he had been watching us all night (not in a creepy way) and that we were so in love, and that we were even sweeter than his grapefruit cake. He also told us he hadn't had a date in 15 years and said he couldn't even get Donald Duck to call him back. :lmao: He congratulated us, and we were on our merry way.

Chris had ordered two drinks during dinner, and then had drank half of his glass of champagne. He is not a drinker, not in the least bit, so at this point he was a little tipsy. We were giggly and didn't really feel like riding anything, so we went into the Art of Disney to see if we needed to buy anything. I let Chris wander around and I struck up a conversation with the cashier. She was a DVC member, and when she noticed my ears she asked if we had married in WDW: why yes, yes we had! (For all of you other Disney brides: were you asked that question a lot? We were, and CMs always seemed excited to hear that.) She told us that her son also had a disney wedding, and he was married to the girl who was "Friends with Belle" in the DHS stage show! What an amazing job!

I ended up buying a Park Starz vinylmation there, and thankfully Tipsy Chris didn't set us back a couple grand on a painting. I ended up getting Abe Lincoln though. :( (Speaking of which, do you still want him, Teresa??)

Before we left, we stopped for some pictures.

31856900085.jpg

As we were walking out of the park, I noticed a Milwaukee sign outside of Sid's! Obviously, this sign had always been there--- but I hadn't really paid attention because I hadn't lived in Milwaukee. We had to be true 'sconnies and take pictures.

DSCN0456.jpg

DSCN0457.jpg

And, another lovey dovey picture as we waited for the bus:

DSCN0458.jpg

The bus ride back was uneventful. On our way back to the room, we saw our DVC friend Kennedy again. We talked about dinner, and I got a few more rows of stickers. He was obviously trying to sell DVC to a family, so he asked us to tell them about it, and we more than happily helped out!

Once we were back in the room, we pretty much crashed: it had been a long, yet fun, day. Our plan was to head back to DHS in the morning so we could actually go on some rides this time!

Yeah I'm all caught up. First thing is where did you get the dress that you wore to the Brown Derby! I love it.

Ok now for my post. I want to try CG too but we have small kids and I don't know if they are too young to go. My youngest would be 7 when we go to Disney next April. Did you see any kids there?

I love Living with the Land too! They have a tour that I would love to do someday.

My husband and I went to the Brown Derby in 2001 with my oldest son who is almost 13 now but was 2 at the time. He had Mickey Mouse mac n cheese. We loved it there but I wouldn't bring the kids there now though. Too expensive my boys eat a lot would cost me a fortune.

Can't wait for another update :goodvibes

Nah, it could've just been my brain being wonky. It's doing that a lot lately. Silly brain!

Nope, they've never been! My mom's always wanted to go, but either money was lacking or life got in the way or something. My first Disney trip was to DL when I was 20.

--------
Aww, that man was so sweet! And I've totally gone to restaurants and gotten food because of tv shows, so there's no shame there.

I love this line - "to see if we needed to buy anything". You and I think alike! :rotfl:

And another cute outfit! :goodvibes

All caught up sweetie!!!

The hand thing sounds horrendous!!!!
I love the 'wedding shrine'. I had something similar in our resort rooms!!!!
'Brown Derby' sounds wonderful!!! I must try it sometime. I must admit that I am a bit sceptical about the Grapefruit Cake. I hate grapefruit, but with your recommendation, I may have to give it a go!!
Much love my gorgeous girl!!!

So as usual, you know how this post is going to start. Sorry I'm so damn behind again. I'm telling you.. work is killing me!!! lol If I wasn't so dead set on trying to go to DW every time you turn around, trying to pay off some debt (so we can buy into DVC)... I would definitely take some time off. I haven't even been off long, but I wanted to go ahead and get busy trying to play catch-up, cause I heart you so much!!! BTW: do you know how aggravating it is to go back between all of this pages to find out where I need to comment?! I've already read them all.. probably like right after you posted them. I just hate commenting on the phone, and that's where I normally read them.

Anyway... moving on!

1st I have to comment on your comments from my last comments.. damn that's a mouthful (that's what she said!!!!! BOOYAH!)
-Sometimes I do feel like I have fleas... but then I realize I'm just ashy!!! ;)
-I'm seriously dead set on moving to Orlando in the new future and getting a job at Disney. Charley just has to get a job somewhere making a lot more money!! LOL Do I just go up and say, "Excuse me, I'd like to be Daisy!!"???
-What does it matter what the guy wants?! If we want a renewal, that's what we want!!! Charley has compromised, and I've come up with something else for the 5 yr at Disney. We'll do a 10 yr with DFTW.
-Ginger went with us to Orlando every year up until we got Bentley. I just don't think it's fair to take her and not him.. but it looks like that's what's going to happen this year. I don't have a clue who we're going to get to watch him for us.
-I was nervous to rent points at 1st. We rented from 2 different people for the wedding/honeymoon stay. I made sure I got their references, I googled their names (LOL), and got contracts. It was really easy. You can rent from the Timeshare Store as well.
-People knew better girl. They know ***** would've went off!!!! LMAO
-I ate 3 apple turnovers yesterday.. no judgement here..
-Girl, no lie.. if you would've sent me a message that day saying your mom was bailing, we would've left right that second!!!
-I'm glad we didn't have to pay that for our disk. We did get a nice chunk knocked off for their screw-ups with our free 4x6 prints from the bridal portrait sessions.
-Girl, you better take so many pics for me in May, but I'm going to take so many pics in May too!!! LOL I'm just going to sneak over there. Yall can share the animals with a value resort gal!! HAHA
-I don't think I would complain about my wages if I worked at Disney... as long as Charley made more money!! Get the picture here... Charley should make more money, so I can work at Disney!
-I did email Randy about the editing.. and I did feel strange doing it. But I told him it's because I had a lot of friends/family/Tanis, that wanted to see the pics. So that's when we did the artsy edited ones and posted them on his blog and FB page.
-Charley does that exact thing when his mom calls!!! LOL It's so funny. He'll just put the phone to his ear for a sec to say ok or uh-huh.
-LMAO I thought I was the only one who did this!! I think I'm quite hilarious, so I'll laugh at me all of the time. If I remember something funny from earlier, I'll still laugh and laugh.. cause it's funny, and so am I damnit!
-You're not going to believe our long this overall post is going to be. You know I end up commenting on EVERY single thing you say!!!!

HM 1:2 (this shall be my abbreviation for you)
-I don't think I really want to stay at the GF... I just don't.. But if it's free, why the hell not?! I would def not pay the price though. That is quite ridiculous. I don't care if angels fly out of the ceiling and powder my *** after I shower, I wouldn't pay that price...
-I agree with Chris... I really want to stay at BLT.. hence my plans for our 5 yr at Disney!!! He is a smart man.. don't tell him I said that!
-I think someone has said this before, but I think all couples on their honeymoons should receive an upgrade. I know that's difficult, but they could at least make an effort. Our room at the BWV was great bc it was right off of the lobby, but it looked right into the canopy at the bar by the pool. Not very romantic with all of those screaming rugrats around.. *sorry parents* LOL
-It is a nice room though.
-2 beds... do the business on 1 and sleep on the other!!! LMAO
-I saw lots of people wearing the yeti hat the last time we were there. I would've snatched one for you if I had known you wanted one! I don't mind taking stuff from kids...
-I seriously want a little miniature pig. I actually want a whole farm of miniature animals.. but Charley said no. I really don't know why though. I said please.
-I'm so jealous, it's ridiculous. I can't believe you got to meet Russell. It doesn't make any sense. If I had been there, that would've been awesome. I told Charley that if we'd gotten married on our anniversary (Jan 17th), we would've been there while yall were there!
-I LOVE those sparkly TOMS! They're so sparkly!
-That was very sweet of Chris to wear the ears. Charley wore his, even though he didn't want to. He mainly wore them over his baseball cap though.
-I don't understand why they wouldn't bump the VP for you. You're a damn Disney bride, don't they know that?!
-Even though it took a little time, that was very cool of DJJ!
-AHHHHH a castle!! It's beautiful!!!!
-How comfy was that couch? Our couch at AKV-Jambo was sooooo comfortable. Like you would just sink into it and fall asleep immediately. It was way more comfortable than the couch at BWV.
-I'm so sorry that Chris got sick. That sucks. I can feel him on that situation though.. (well not really feel him, you know what I mean?!) I felt nauseous after at our reception.
-I don't blame you for being jealous of the bride. I'm very jealous of the brides right now. lol Especially considering that if we'd never changed our date, our wedding would be next month!
-I've never taken Alka-Seltzer before. I'm glad it worked for Chris. I always fear I'm going to get terribly ill while on vacation.. like surgery type ill.
-That's cool they sent you free champagne.
-That's the pic we got in the mail when we sent them our invite!
-How were the fireworks from there? Like really?! I know you like them better from the park, but is it a decent view?

HM 2:1
-I'm glad you're continuing on. I've reading all about your wedding and trip and seeing all of your pics!
-Being up at the buttcrack of dawn sucks. It didn't really bother me to get up at 3am for hair and make-up, because we get up at 4:15am every morning anyway! lol
-Regina's super! I heart her as well!!!! I think it's actually a major girl crush.. just sayin!
-Why is it that guys can be done so fast? (OMG that's what she said!... I really need to stop this..) I don't think it's fair that we spend hours that day getting ready, and they spend 15 mins. I don't spend that amount of time normally. I don't wear make-up at all, so it's just a matter of showering and drying my hair. lol
-Pretty nifty she brought DP party prints.
-I wish I had known my way around Epcot prior to our pics, so I could've made better decisions about where to take pics. Regina did a fantastic job picking though!!!
-You should've blew the horn and told the runners to get run out of the way.
-You should've punched that lady restricting your picture taking.
-That would be very strange to be walking around taking pics like that with all of those people around... but pretty cool. The only people around in MK when we were there, were the workers. In Epcot, there were business type dudes in sits.. who blocked us from certain areas BOO to YOU guys!
-I think Italy and Morocco do make for pretty pics.. and I'm not just saying that because we had pics there too!
-I think it is WAY cool that you got bridal pics with characters. That's crazy insane!
-I'm so glad you were able to get Belle. I know you love her deeply!
-Regina was very good at directing you or us.. you know what I'm saying!
-Why would you want to marry someone that old if you're that young? As Kanye would say, "She aint nothin but a Golddigger!"
-I think that's pretty cool about the Disney couple hooking up. Disney should so take advantage of that and run with it! I think you and I should write a screenplay....
-I talked with Regina about the disboards too. They def read.. if not them, others that work there.
-It is very strange when people called me by my married name. It takes some time to get use to.
-I'm sorry you were no longer a Triple P, but that was great of your GP to keep you're stuff for you.
-Our wedding cake was so yummy. I want some right now! I'm still trying to decide what I want to do to celebrate our anniversary when we're there.
-I like changing hotels too. I want to on the anniversary trip, and Charley is like whatever you want. So that means he doesn't really want to. lol But if we do, it will be the same ones we did for the wedding/honeymoon trip. We'd probably do 4 days at BW and 3 at AKV. That's if I can find points by the time I can actually rent them with all the trips we already have planned! Alas.. the reason I'm working 50+ hours a week! lol
-I seriously would've punched Penny. No joke! LOL I don't understand why the people in line behind you didn't speak up. That makes them even worse, and I would've shin kicked every stinkin one of them on the way to the back of that line!!!! (I was somewhat of an anger issue sometimes. Charley seems to think it's turning into a real problem!)
-I hate that they didn't give you a bomb diggity view room at BLT, but they're super cute anyway! I LOVE the decor. I would seriously decorate my crib like that!!

HM 2:2
-I don't think it's fair that you get a spring break. For some strange reason I thought we got a spring break at work (I've worked here for like 9 yrs), Charley told me I was freakin crazy.
-I don't think there's anything wrong with going to the park in full hair and make-up. You paid for it. I went to Epcot after the wedding in mine.
-I could spend a lot of money at Disney on all of the knickknack stuff.
-Yay, pretty pictures!
-And I must say.. I'm jealous of all of your Pandora bracelets and charms. I never want to go spend the money on them, even though Charley says I can. I always think of something else. Like.. that's a tank of gas to Disney World!! LOL
-AHHH porno kissy pics!
-I'm also jealous of the balloon pics.
-I would've been so full after eat that app. lol
-You should really dress up if you're going to go to a restaurant like that. Nobody's saying it has to be a 3 piece suit or anything... but not coochie cutter shorts either!!
-That meat looks pink to me... and I'm not even going to say it this time!
-Chris' meal does look quite delicious to me though.
-I hate cheesecake!
-I'm glad you got to snuggle!!

HM 3:1
-I'm not even going to say what would've happened to those people throwing you back and forth through those lines, because you already know what it will be.
-It really does sound like a nifty tour though. I hate that Josh/Brad didn't do a great job. (I seriously thought I was the only person that renamed people. If I don't think you're name suits you, or I can't remember what it is.. I'm going to give you something that I think your parents should've named you!)
-I don't like jokesters when it's not appropriate. Don't tell me I can touch something, and then tell me I can't. ]
-I'm not going to lie.. I hate Soarin'.
-Aww don't yall look so purdy!
-That's sucks that they wouldn't let you take pics in LSS.
-I would've freaked the **** out if someone had put that babydoll hand on me. I DESPISE It's a Small World.. I know, I know. I can't help it though. All of those damn dolls creep me out.
-I want to meet real Ellen.. just sayin!
-You should've stolen me a costume.
-Josh/Brad should seriously get some training, or allow us to take over his shift.
-I'm a very picky eater. I don't want to spend money on something if I know I'm not going to like it either. Chris sounds like my kind of guy! ;)
-We gave away lots of FPs while we were down the past few times. We always just walked to the exit, looking for a couple as we went. Sometimes it can be very difficult. And sometimes they look at you like you're very strange?! ***, I'm giving you a FP!
-I love watching the special on the Travel channel about them growing all of the food for the restaurants and all that jazz.

HM 3:2
-I haven't started on our scrapbook. All of the wedding stuff is in the spare room or piled on the bookshelf that I'm going to use to put all of it on. I have some great ideas though, I promise! lol
-Please post pics of yours!! I would love to see it.
-I'm seriously iffy about those 3D glasses anyway.
-Your wedding shrine is magnificent, and your flowers are as beautiful as ever!
-You should've stolen a vase from The Attic.
-I'm so ready to buy into DVC. I tell Charley at least once a day.
-Ooo you big drinker! lol I always order lemonade!! I swear I'm going to drink a drink on my bday while we're there. Charley and I did share 1 at Epcot while we were there for Christmas. We just don't really drink. I get too sick, and I can't stand it.
-Again, Chris' looks delicious. I kid you not, on the honeymoon.. if they had steak on the menu, that's what we ordered. We love steak, so I'm sure we would like the bison!!
-You're looks tasty too. It's something I would never order just by seeing it on the menu though. How was the sauce?
-I don't like grapefruit either, so maybe I'd like that cake too. Who knows?!
-Sounds like Disney was trying to get yall in "the mood" with all those free drinks!!
-Very cool with the couple as you were leaving.
-I would've been about to pass out had I been Chris.
-Now why can't I be the girl that's friends with Belle.
-Cute pics!
-Yay sleepy time!

Guess who's all caught up now?! I am!!! Woohoo!!!! I'm not even going to say how long it took me to type all of this up. I apologize in advance for anything that's spelled wrong, incorrect grammar, or punctuation!! I'm not proofreading this. :upsidedow

* The Undiscovered Future World tour does sound slightly disappointing. Especially considering how much those tours cost!
* I love your Diet Coke clutch! I am also addicted. It used to be regular Coca-Cola until I started caring about calories!
* Hollywood Brown Derby looks sooo delicious! I love grapefruit so I am dying to try that grapefruit cake! Maybe next trip. We aren't on the dining plan but my brother is coming and he's the world's pickiest eater so we'll probably end up at Mama Melrose's so he can have Italian (the only type of food he likes).
* Love the Milwaukee sign! I never noticed it either, but like you I never had reason to!

Can't wait for another update :goodvibes

Thanks! I actually got the dress at a thrift sale. (how hipster of me, huh?!?!?)

Oh! Yes, BRING your kids to Cali Grill. That restaurant has fantastic food, but it was also brimming with children: and we went at 9:00 at night. I am sure it is even more children friendly earlier in the day. It is also a LOUD restaurant (unlike, say, the Brown Derby or Yachtsman). Bring the children!

Oh I want to do the Behind the Seeds tour too! I'm gonna ask Chris if we can do it in May RIGHT NOW! He said yes! :cool1:

Nah, it could've just been my brain being wonky. It's doing that a lot lately. Silly brain!

Nope, they've never been! My mom's always wanted to go, but either money was lacking or life got in the way or something. My first Disney trip was to DL when I was 20.

And another cute outfit! :goodvibes

Oh, wow! Yeah, my mom had only been to WDW once when she was 21 on her honeymoon. She hated it! I am glad your parents are looking forward to going. :)

And I adore shopping, especially in WDW.

Did you see the little hand up there?!?! I was also SO skeptical about the Grapefruit Cake. I just kind of took the plunge and it was fantastic! Love you too, Jo. <3

So as usual, you know how this post is going to start. Sorry I'm so damn behind again. I'm telling you.. work is killing me!!! lol If I wasn't so dead set on trying to go to DW every time you turn around, trying to pay off some debt (so we can buy into DVC)... Anyway...

:upsidedow

I feel like I could write my doctoral thesis on our planning journal posts back and forth to one another. I think you should do a TR every time you take a Disney trip. This would make me SO happy. I’m going to do them from now on! And I’m sorry you’ve been working so much, but DVC is a fantastic reward. We have debt to pay off too. I hate debt.

Comments on Comments on Comments
-LOL! You have fleas?! Whenever Smokey would scratch, my mom would say “Does he have fleas?!” Nope. He’s just a dog. My mother is an idiot though.
-You would make a fabulous Daisy. Bethie would be ECSTATIC!
-What are you gonna do for your 5 years at Disney?
-Who watches the doggie on all of your mini-Dis trips?? We board ours at a place Smokey loves. Like, I think he loves it there more than he loves it at home. It makes me very, very sad.
-GAH I should have sent you a message. I didn’t even THINK of it.
-NO ANIMALS FOR THE VALUES!!! We don’t allow passengers from steerage up to first class! LOL!!!! I am totally kidding. I just wanted to say it.
-I’m so glad you laugh at your own jokes. Richelle laughs at hers too.

Okay, onto the TR comments. Not separated by date because I am lazy.

-LOL! I think I would pay the $600 just to see angels powder your behind.
-Oh! BLT for 5 years!
-LOL! One for business. Teehee.
-If you see a yeti hat, please steal it for me. Kthx.
-I want a miniature horse, but we already talked about this on facebook.
-That couch was actually only EH for comfort, not gonna lie. It was beauty-ful though.
-BUT if you hadn’t changed your wedding date, you wouldn’t have been to WDW 5 million times since your wedding.
-We never got a pic in the mail with our invite. ☹
-AND the view was pretty good!!! Very pretty. I still like it best from Main Street though.
-Your that’s what she said comments killed me all throughout this response!!
-I shower at night, that’s how lazy I have become. It’s sick.
-BOO to businessmen. And I should have punched the only lady. No one messes with a disbride!
-We SHOULD write a screenplay. Anne Hathaway can star, then we can make enough money to retire at Golden Oak.
-Recreate the top layer of your cake for your anni! Chris and I are going to do that.
-You know, you’re right: the people behind us should have said something! But they didn’t. That’s not cool.
-LOL! Why did you think you got a spring break?!?!
-I have a Pandora addiction. Chris buys me lots of them though, especially when he is stupid. It’s my payment.
-I always forget that you hate cheesecake. I love it. Mmmmm.
-Would you have punched the people in the line?! I’ll bet you would have. All of them.
-Chris also just renamed Dean the photographer to Jeff.
-Why do you hate Soarin’? Just wondering.
-I want to meet Ellen too. I love her JCP commercials!
-I like trying new things, but I hate paying for something if I don’t like it. I tried Indian for the first time this week, and I was so scared I wouldn’t like it! It was okay though.
-I looove Disney travel channel specials. Especially the ones with Samantha Brown. She’s as cute as a button.
-I will post some pictures of the scrapbook! I just gotta take some pictures first. I’m sleepy today.
-We didn’t have vases in the Attic: just my small, kitschy ones from Goodwill!
-Wait til you read about Chris’s experience at Hoop de Doo with alcohol. That is all I will say…
-The sauce on the chicken was good! I think it was cheesy. I hate steak, so I always get chicken or pork. I actually got pork at Cali Grill, not chicken.
-YAY I AM ALL CAUGHT UP TOO!!! Now, don’t fall behind on the parade again. WORK IS NOT A VALID EXCUSE!!!!

Oohh yay another thing we have in common! I have a Diet Coke problem.
You know where you should go with your brother, by the way?!?! Via Napoli. I have TWO reviews of it coming up. It's delicious. (And I'm super picky about pizza.) And now you can think of me every time you see the Milwaukee sign! (I thought of you whenever we walked by the Country Bears, btw.)

So, I've decided to pause this trip report in order to share my wedding scrapbook with you all! This is what I worked on all spring break, and it's the first scrapbook I've ever actually finished, so please be kind.

And, on a side note, my scrapbook was gifted to me by my lovely DisBride Secret Santa, Sam!!

I found scrapbooking to be really relaxing, but, honestly, I just liked playing with stickers. :lmao:I will definitely do more of these in the future, but I think I am going to do a photobook with our honeymoon pictures.

Jackie, that came out SO GOOD! :goodvibes We won't even talk about what my first attempt at a scrapbook looked like!

I think it came out great! I have been scrapbooking for over 10 years and I have quite the collection of paper, stickers and die cuts. It's addicting.

Your scrapbook is AMAZING!!!!!! I hope I can come up with something that wonderful when I get around to doing mine :) My last WDW trip is in pinboard form rather than scrapbook form... might just change that now ;)

The scrapbook came out great I need to keep working on the one for greg and I. I am glad you made one I really love it.

Teresa

Love your scrapbook! LOVE the album cover itself too! Gorgeous~ Also, the small hand that your tour guide had in his pocket from It's a Small World is super-duper creepy o_o lol I didn't get the picture until I really looked at it and did a big GASP. But I'm glad you had fun with your scrapbook! Can't wait to read more about your HM! :goodvibes

I've missed you, Becky!!

-Have you started planning out your 2013 trip yet??

Umm.. of course! Haha, my family makes it a little difficult because they insist it's too early to plan, but that doesn't stop me! We're staying in a timeshare outside of Disney :( But Jason's uncle is giving it to us for free, so can't really complain! It is super, super nice, it's just not in Disney. We've put in our request for the type of room we want there, and we can officially book it 11 months out, so that will be in May. It's going to be me and Jason, my parents, and most likely my brother (depending on his job situation at that point, since he is graduating college this May).

We have a basic plan for what we want to do. We'll arrive on a Sunday and leave the next Saturday, giving us 5 full days. We'll do each of the Disney parks once and spend a day at Universal for Harry Potter world (I've already been 3 times but my parents really want to see it!). Hopefully we'll arrive early and leave late so we can fit in some other stuff - maybe half a day in Epcot or a visit to Downtown Disney.

Luckily my dad loves food so I was able to start talking restaurants with him! That is my favorite part of planning ;) Right now we are thinking 1 table service meal a day and one quick service for lunch (though maybe two sit downs at Epcot since there are so many good options!). For MK I want to try the new Beauty and the Beast restaurant - no menu available yet but does the food really matter when you're eating in the beast's castle?? Epcot, there are so many options... both the Italian places sound good and my mom is really interested in Rose and Crown. I might try to get a dinner there around Illuminations to try and get a good view. Probably Mama Melrose for HS. And I want to try Yak and Yeti at AK, but not everyone shares my more exotic food tastes. Not sure about our Universal day, if we'll eat somewhere there or go back to Disney for a dinner... Disney would be my preference but I must consult with the others! Oh, and my dad demands that I book us at the Tomorrowland dessert party! He is jealous of my pics of all the desserts we had last time.

That may have been way more information than you wanted to know... but no one else is interested in hearing about my plans! :rotfl: I know my fellow Disney freaks will at least be interested :goodvibes

Via Napoli sounds really good! I can't wait for your reviews. Do they do lunch there? I've been reading the menu and I really want to try the pizza with prosciutto and cantelope! Yes I have weird tastes :rotfl:

Aww, that is so funny you think of me by the Country Bears! I will definitely think of you when I see the Milwaukee sign! :goodvibes

Okay, on to the scrapbook! I love scrapbooking - I think I have done about 12 of them. I'm still procrastinating on my wedding scrapbook, and then the honeymoon one. Once I'm done with finals I'll have some free time!

* First of all, the album itself is beautiful - what an awesome secret santa gift! I really want one that looks like that. My mom's been bugging me on what to get me for my birthday so now I have a suggestion!
* This was seriously your first scrapbook? It looks AWESOME!! Way better than my first attempt.
* Your layouts are really nice. You have a good eye for it.
* One thing that I like to do with my scrapbooks is when I print my pictures, I do them in all different sizes. I like the variety that comes with that - although sometimes I get carried away by trying to fit a bunch of pictures on one page and I print them way too small!
* I love the page with the Princesses as ballerinas - how cute is that?!
* You have me excited to start my scrapbook now!

Your dinner at the Brown Derby is making my stomach growl! I love the atmosphere of that place so much and that chicken looks delish. I haven't dined there in years, but on one trip we were told by our waiter that Justin Timberlake was there dining in a private room or something. I was probably around 12 years old and very excited, but I didn't manage to see him...

Great job with the scrapbook! I'm so impressed that you got it all done over your spring break. I've only done one scrapbook for a trip to Italy and it took me a looooong time! If I ever attempt to do one again it would have to be Disney related (I love Disney stickers and I don't like giving them away to other people! lol) and I'll have to use Becky's tip of having pictures printed in different sizes! Thanks Becky! :thumbsup2

I love your scrapbook so so much! Ummm...so, if I already have all the pictures, and I went crazy buying scrapbooking stuff before the wedding but I hate actually doing it, can I just send it to you to do for me??? :worship:
LOL...so cute!

Lovely! I know it's your first, but youre far craftier than me!

Awww thank you!

Jackie, that came out SO GOOD! :goodvibes We won't even talk about what my first attempt at a scrapbook looked like!

Thanks! My first "attempt" was one when I was 18, but I got lazy and never finished it--- so it didn't count.

I think it came out great! I have been scrapbooking for over 10 years and I have quite the collection of paper, stickers and die cuts. It's addicting.

OOooO I am jealous. I had to keep venturing out to Michael's last week for stuff: I thought it would take me more time than it did! Although, thankfully their paper was on sale 6 for $1, so I saved money on that.

Your scrapbook is AMAZING!!!!!! I hope I can come up with something that wonderful when I get around to doing mine :) My last WDW trip is in pinboard form rather than scrapbook form... might just change that now ;)

Awww thank you! I am considering doing some disney scrapbook, but those disney stickers are SO expensive! $5 per sticker for all the ones I like!!

The scrapbook came out great I need to keep working on the one for greg and I. I am glad you made one I really love it.

Teresa

Awww thank you! I'd like to see yours when you're done.

Love your scrapbook! LOVE the album cover itself too! LOL! Yeah, you have to look for the creepy little hand. We're silly.

Umm.. of course! Haha, my family makes it a little difficult because they insist it's too early to plan, but that doesn't stop me!

Ooohhh a free timeshare is better than paying for a Disney room! (Free is always better than paying.) How close will you be to the parks? And I think a half day at DTD is a really good idea.

Restaurants are also my favorite part of planning a Disney trip! Chris and I don't eat out a lot when we're not in Disney, so it's a treat and we go ALLL out. Your restaurant choices sound good! I am keeping my fingers crossed that Be Our Guest is open by NYE--- it's supposed to open "late 2012" and I desperately want to go there too. Rose and Crown is really good (and some of their drinks include a souvenir mug and I love stuff like that... I know, weird.) I haven't been to Mama Melrose or Yak and Yeti, but I've always wanted to try both of them! I wanted to do the DP in May, but I couldn't fit it into our schedule.

Also, yes, Via Napoli certainly does lunch. :D I've been to Tutto Italia too, and I am not a fan. I am willing to bet that, being from NY, you wouldn't like it either. (But I am a pizza snob, and VN has amazing pizza.) Okay, that was a long response too!

I'd love to see your scrapbooks when you're done with them! The scrapbook is really reasonable: I think it was $15 or so and you can get it on the walmart website. And thank you for the different sized picture tip! I wouldn't have thought of that, but it makes sooo much sense.

:thumbsup2

You breathed the same air as Justin Timberlake! :lmao: That's a little amazing. The Brown Derby was sooo good. I want it in my tummy now. I also HATE giving away my disney stickers... but, more than that, my My Little Pony stickers. They're hard to come by!

I love your scrapbook so so much! Ummm...so, if I already have all the pictures, and I went crazy buying scrapbooking stuff before the wedding but I hate actually doing it, can I just send it to you to do for me??? :worship:
LOL...so cute!

Aww, thank you! and... LOL!!! Times like these I really wish I lived in Central Florida. I would totally come and have a scrapbook party with you! (Also, I just noticed you're staying GF CL soonish...fancy fancy! I hope you do a TR!)
