Well, looks as if this thread will soon go into oblivion. Tampa showed that they were the best in the business last night. I tip my cap to them. Looks as if Stanley will get his TAN afterall!!!! It was a great series from 2 worthy teams. Here's to the hope that there will be a hockey season next year.

Here's to the Stanley Cup champions! Since they had to beat both Montreal and Philadelphia, I guess they earned it.

For us Leaf fans, we've been saying that for almost 40 years!!! Sigh!!!

But yes, it was a great series and congratulations to the Tampa Bay team! Calgary certainly has nothing to be ashamed about; their goal was just to make the playoffs this year, never mind go all the way to the final!

Hopefully there will be NHL hockey next year!
