It's time for....DISNEY CONFESSIONS

I make my staff guess the wait times for the rides when it's slow at work. I tell them things like,
-"Now remember, it's a Friday, in March, at 6pm and it's raining right now..sooooo how long would SDMT be?"
-"Ummmm, I don't know, like, 3 hours?"
-"WHAT? No!! Have you learned nothing?? Trick Question!!! Its CLOSED, I said it's raining!!!!"

They HATE this game.:rotfl2:

-We check wait times, my wife makes me guess the longest at each park
-I go to sleep listening to the entrance music to Epcot
-I call WDW guest services and ask what time Main Street Bakery opens
-When I order lunch at work I ask for Aunt Liz's golden fried chicken from Prime Time Cafe
-I check time share resale prices daily
-To get the Disney in July effect I put on jeans and a sweatshirt and stand in a hot shower and slowly move in circles
-I watch TimTracker go to parks on days that Craig or Ryno don't
-I watch park blogs twice, once for the blog and once to watch the people in the background

I have days worth of park music on an external drive and play music all day at work. Sometimes it's a World Showcase day, sometimes a resort background loop day, sometimes a Sunset Blvd day. I love it .

Read dining reports (only with photos).

I usually am wearing some type of Disney related item.

I calculate resort stays regularly. What is the latest discount? Would buying an AP for the discount be worth it? How much is our favorite Reunion rental on VRBO plus 5 days at an onsite resort?

Browse etsy for WDW items.

Check current wait times on lines app/touring plans.

I have more WDW/DL content on my instagram and twitter than friend stuff.

There are blogs I read every day.

I have 9 signed Larry Dotson prints hanging up that I have bought while at WDW. We always visit Larry . I have 4 small WS pavilion prints of his as well. I've got a full size "attraction poster" of Its Tough to be a Bug that my sister got from a WDW design employee while at his home. She had it framed for me. I've got 2 David Doss prints and several Mary Blair prints. I also have an Enchanted Tiki Room themed half bath. I have a problem.

Serious question - So - I'd love to completely agitate my husband to no end for the next six months.

Where does one acquire park music?

Where does one acquire park music?

I've acquired a library of it over the years. Earlier it was from file sharing sites. The easiest way now is from YouTube. Go to YouTube and search Disney park music. Copy the URL of whatever track you want. You can google YouTube to MP3 and several sites will come up. Choose one and paste the URL into that site. It converts the YouTube video to an MP3 and give you a link that will download it to your device.

1. I...um...save all the shopping bags. I take them home and fold them up and just sort of *have* them.
2. When my computer comes on, I have the monorail shpiel as the welcome sound. It just feels so good to have "Welcome aboard the Walt Disney World express monorail, our highway in the sky to the Magic Kingdom..."
Oh yeah - I SO used to do this! And I'd use them for "dry trash" (so as not to get dirty , mind you!) :) in my Winnie the Pooh wastebasket. If I didn't have WDW ones, I'd use Disney Store ones. :)

I listen to a few Disney podcasts, occasionally have the park background loop playing while I'm at work (particularly Epcot), and check the wait times occasionally. I don't have an active trip planned, but I briefly tried to plan a short notice trip on my own for my birthday (couldn't do it for less than $1,000 :sad2:) and any brief mention of going to Disney sends me on a planning spree

Oh, and potentially the weirdest (and my favorite) thing is that I created a large sculpture of Figment complete with lights inside. He barely fits in the back of my SUV with his tail (My work does an illuminated procession and it was my excuse to infuse my love of Figment into work :figment:)
@curiousera&curiouser OMG - I LOOOOOOVE Figment, and I LOOOOOOOOVE this!!!!

Hope you and @safetymom don't mind me tapping her so she can see and appreciate this masterpiece too!! :) Thanx for the smile!! :)

I've been working on a 16×20 Pinocchio cross stitch for a few years now, but I'm almost done!
I can relate - have a Sorcerer's Apprentice cross stitch that a friend of mine gave me probably 20 years ago that I absolutely TREASURE!! Enjoy it when you're done, I'll think about you when I look at mine! :)

Check and check here.

I love how everybody's sharing just reminds me of YET ANOTHER THING I do on a REGULAR BASIS, and that reminds me just how deep my addiction is. :lmao:

My real confession is that after a particularly stressful day, I put a walk around tour of MK/EPCOT on with low volume to help me sleep. I tend to get really anxious after a stressful day and the sounds seem to soothe me.

Oh, I also religiously do "dummy bookings" to see what prices are like for different dates (obviously I don't actually book them). Most of my free time is spent doing something like this, studying menus. Looking at other Disney parks that I've never been too. Stewy actually came home the other day to find me watching a video of the bus journey from Saratoga Springs to EPCOT... this may be past the point of obsession at this stage :')

Can you do this from your phone or does it have to be done from a computer? This sounds like my ticket to listening to park music without having to stream it!! Would you be able to tell me the name of the program you use or is that not allowed? Thank you!

I'm not sure about your phone. I've used "listen to YouTube" and "YouTube to MP3 " sites. Just go to one of those sites, put the URL of the YouTube video you want, and go to the link it's gives for the download. I've used it on my iMac and a chrome book.

Thank you SO much I will try it on my mac!

I knew that answer and I haven't been to WDW since 2000. Lol. Guess I spend too much time on the boards. Confession I might have been a cast member in the past.
Sure ask us for our deepest darkest confessions and just when we feel like a safe community and others feel empathy for us you post this. Hmmmmm?

HOW do you do this?!

I lament the fact that Joe and Ashley of See Ya Reel Sooon are no longer vlogging.

I follow random cast members on Instagram to catch a bit of Disney magic.

I'm still working a job I took four years ago just to pay for a Disney trip-- three trips later.

I'm super excited that I've finally lost enough weight to wear my adventureland hoodie from 2004.
