The first character to come around was this big loveable pot of hunny! :

I had to quick run and scream KAYLA!!!!!!! POOOH..POOOH IS AT THE TABLE!!
She hurried her lil butt over! She ADORES pooh bear! See:

Then as luck would have it, the characters were just pouring in! One thing I realized on this trip, is that it is hard to actually eat during a character meal lol I didn't care much though! I didn't want to feel sick from being stuffed on my very first day anways! After pooh, his very goodest friend tigger came to see us!

Then, Maryyyyy Popppppppinnns... (a kinda scary looking Mary Poppins at that !)

We got a quick character break at this point, and I decided to make a food run!! Then I saw this:

The strawberry soup everyone on the dis talks about, that I totally forgot about until I saw it! Well, I see what all the fuss was about!! It was YUM! It took me a few bites to get used to it, but man was it good! Like a really smooth smoothie?? lol I felt like a true Diser at that moment lol!

Soon after, we had some more visitors!

These 2 are hilarious! I loved them last year and I loved them again this year!!

then this guy came back around!

He so cute and friendly!!

Happy and full!!

All in all it was a good breakfast. I seem to remember more options on last years buffet though. I'm not sure if we will go back next year, seeing as we have done it 2 years in a row, but it may very well be on the list!

Once we got all our stuff packed up, we were ready to hit the road! Not before taking some more GF pics though!

We decided to keep our cars parked at GF (although, sweet John ran back to the car to get my sunglasses! ) I wanted to start this trip off right, and what better way than a trip on the monorail!

Seriously, so jealous! Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare is one of the few ADRs that I was unable to get. Been checking back, but no luck! I have Cape May Cafe booked as an alternative, though.

And thanks for the driving advice. I figured the kids would be wide awake with plenty of sleep when we arrive, which is fine, I can run on little to no sleep, dh on the other hand will be in the room snoring!!! And that's fine too, me and the kids will get to do whatever WE choose that first day!! Sounds good to me.

And planning on 4-6 extra hours to drive is pretty much what I figured, so , sounds good. Thanks

HOW awesome that your DH is a CM! and that you used to be one! I love meeting CM's on here!! I'm so glad I could give you a look from a child's point of view.. I myself am 3 again when I go, so that may also be helpful!!

Honestly, that is my son 24/7! That kid would never sleep if we didn't force him!! He is my little energizer bunny! Too bad he doesn't realize we don't all have that much energy lol

No prob! it sounds like a lot of time, and I thought this year we could go for less time..but we ended up taking more breaks this year than last year! as long as you don't get your heart set on a set time, you will be a-ok!

It was definitely time for sleep now! Jack thought otherwise!

Eventually I won, and both kids were PASSSED out!

I was hoping everyone would sleep well tonight! We had a 6 am wake up call the following morning and it was our first day in the parks

I'm pretty sure pics in my last update have given it away, but today we were going to the MAGIC KINGDOM!! This is always our first park, because..idk, It is my favorite! I'm also one of those people who can not step away from tradition. Maybe it is the ocd in me? who knows, whatever the reason, I just do not like change.ever.at all. (more on that later though!)

We last left off at GF waiting for the monorail. The wait was not long if any at all. Once we got to the Magic Kingdom Kayla was stoked!!

Of course, i wanted to take everything in.. my head was on eye candy sensory overload! As we walked down the ramp John decided to let go of the stroller and see how ast the kids could go...

Him and the kids LOVE doing this, and it gives me a mini stroke EVERY time! I don't ever want to have to say I told you so when it comes to the kids safety!! Bad John! Bad kids for egging John on!!

We were at the end of the ramp and I see this

Which made me smile and squeal..inside..I think? I may have been literally squealing as well?? My favorite time of year is Autumn, hands down! My favorite holiday is Halloween, hands down. My favorite place in the world is Disney World, hands down. Put it all together and what do you get?? A very blissful Jenn Paul!

After I was done taking pics of that it was time to go through the dreaded bag check... Oi vey. I hate thissss. I tried to pack better this year. But going through bag check was JUST as big a pain this year as last..and my double stroller.. that thing has got to go next year! Although, a stroller is a must! If not to push tired kids then to hold loads of crap you buy and big bags you insist you need to have with you at the park.

I must say though, most bag check security people were great, and tried to go as fast as they could! God bless them in those uniforms.. in that heat. oof.

Once through, I started taking pics galore!!

OMG.. I seriously LOVE the MK decorated for Halloween! Like love love love it! I took a ton of pics..wherever and whenever!

Once we were officially in the MK, I saw Daisy Duck signing autographs! In all our times going, I have NEVER seen her! I just about had a heart attack, and told everyone I gotta go see her..must go see her.. Sophia bless her heart said she would go sit and wait for us! Of course, we got in line and a few mins later Daisy was gone so that she could take a break..aka someone else comes out as Daisy lol. The line didn't seem that long when we got on it, but I must have missed the huge Asian group.. well you know the and their Disney! They had to take five million peace sign poses. Also they were ridiculously good looking and well dressed. LOl. That's me being a jealous hater. One thing that I could not for the life of me understand the entire trip was, how all the Asian girls had on black stir-ups under a pair of short or a skirt or whatevs... it was SOOOOOOO hot!! Do they not feel the heat? or is fashion that important to them?? Every time I saw them I sweat just a little bit more!

So while we waited for our turn, I took some more pics:

Oh and not to be controversial, but before we left on our trip, I commented on a post about people who have their wife or hubs wait in line for them for attractions/characters. I commented that it didn't bother me. Which is doesn't. What DID bother me, was the few people in front of me who were holding places for a ginormous amount of people! My eyes just about popped out of my head when I saw this big group come up! That is just down right rude! But whatevs, we were in the Magic Kingdom, so I didn't say anything.

Finally it was our turn! and she was just the cutest thing ever!

After we were done, I had to go back and get pics of this

Once I was done taking pics of that, it was time for another first!

It was time for Jack to get his first pair of Mickey ears!! Do not ask me why, but for some ridiculous reason, I forgot to get him a pair last year! Which I did not realize until I got home So I was on a mission! and Bless Jophias hearts again! These poor people are on their first full day of vacation and in the Magic Kingdom and haven't even gotten to the beginning of Main St.! (although, I did tell them I would not be offended if they wanted to set off without us!!)

Of course I tell Jack to pick a pair out and he picks out two. As luck would have it, one pair was teh classic black ones, and the other pair he chose were the Jack Skellington ones! So I bought both! The black pair because, well it's classic! You have to, and the NMBC ones, because it's Jack the Pumpkin King! and one of the Jack's my Jack was named after! (say that 3 x fast!) So then OF COURSE Kayla wanted another pair too! She chose a aby blue tinkerbelle one. Then of course I wanted a pair!! So I got the Mickey as a pumpkin pair!! Sad to say, but I have no pics! Just this one from my cell phone!

I am not sure why or how I missed taking pics of the hats, but I did. John however did get pics of te lady sewing his name on:

By the way, the new method of sewing names on is SOOOOO lame. When we got Kayla her first pair of ears in 2005, watching them embroider her name on the hat was such a treat! Now they have a stupid machine do it!! That was a bummer, and John was pissed about it lol.

After that we started walking through all the shops on main streets right side. It was hot out and this lept us nice and cool. plus I love shopping and wanted to see everything!

Then I saw these guys...and suddenly lurkyloo's TR popped into my head. Her DH Patrick bought these on their last trip together and I knew as soon as she posted them, that I needed one!

Not just that, but they had holiday ones out!! And Halloween is a holiday!! problem is, you never knwo which one you will get! Joe, Sophia's awesome hubs, said heres 20 bucks, get me two and get yourself one. If I get the one you want you can have it! How sweet is he!! So I bought three and we were on our merry way.

As we were leaving the store, the morning parade was going on! What luck! I am not a huge parade person. As in if I miss it I don't care (except for spectro, I really love spectro!). But since the parade was already right in front of me, why not stay and watch!

This guy really liked Kayla's pins and he stopped in the middle of the parade! He said he'd catch us later..but we never did see him It was all good though, him stopping made her and jack feel uber special!

Funny thing about this parade was the guy on the last float. He was like rapping. Idk, but I thought this was hysterical! As soon as the last float got past us, we started making our way up main street. Of course I stopped to take a pic of....

Sophia suggested that we start in Adventureland and I thought that was a great idea! I stopped a few more times for pics too...

As we walked through something caught my eye, and I instantly stopped. It was Aloha Isle!! I had heard SOOOO much about these Dole Whips, and never found them last year. I HAD to stop and get one! I got the Dole Whip Float:

HOLY CRAP! I see what all the fuss was about! This thing was like pure heaven! especially on such a hot day! This was another one of those, I'm really a diser moments!

After we finished up, it was time to finally get on a ride! we had been there a while already and still not gotten on one ride! We decided to ride Jungle cruise.. another first for us! I know I know.. how did we miss it last time?? I have no clue! It was pretty much a walk on. We waited most of the time for Sophia's husband Joe to stop playing the boat racing game once we were all on line we got got to the front pretty quick, but had to wait because we had a big group. They wanted to make sure we were all together. The ride was fun, and the tour guide was HILARIOUS! She was so sarcastic that i think some may have been offended! I totally appreciated her!

When we were done n this, we decided to head on over to one of my all time favorites, Pirates of the Caribbean! and guess what?? Another walk on!! Score! I was loving September already! Aside from the heat that is lol i was good on this ride and did not take any flash photography! Mostly because my camera wouldn't... I did however get a pic of the kids with this super hot dude that was working for the Pirate League:

OK.. he's got make up on.. but trust me, he was hot! BTW, I always make the kids take pics with the hotty CM's... seriosuly.

After that, I saw a line forming and asked who it was for, once I found out I jetted over! It was none other than:

Wendy Darling and Peter Pan! I was sooooo excited! That is another one of my fav movies and characters!! too bad, Peter was a complete freaking weirdo and creeped me out! He was like sarcastically rude towards the kids..and appeared as though he may be on some sort of drugs. No, he was not in character either. I know Peter pan is a real ball buster, but this guy was just weird! Hopefully we can meet a better Peter next year! Wendy was pretty good though!

After this it was just about lunch time, and Jophia headed to Peco's Bills for some food! We found a table outside and chilled for a bit. Joe and I opened our vinylmations, and of course i didn't get the one I wanted. He however DID get the one I wanted, and I got one of te ones he wanted!! SCORE! We traded and were both happy campers. right around this time, both Sophia and I got a text.. it was a Diser friend!!
