This house hunting could take a long time. The house we liked had 6 bids. Forget that one. Because of the costs being so low alot of bidders. Holy Moly

I've been meaning to ask if you got the house. If there are a lot of bidders, does that mean that the housing market is picking up?

No, it just means that if the person who bids on it does not get the loan then it will go to the next one with the second bid. If no one gets a loan it will come back on the market. This could take a long time.

Where are you in the queue?

Congratulations! You definitely need Gingko Biloba pills and I think that if that Fogies thread was still living and breathing, we might even think about lowering the age limit just for you!
Why thank you....:lmao: :rotfl:

Polotics. Thats why I dont work for corporations. To much involved. How did you drive part way? Or should I ask? Well you can be with the old fogies its ok. Even though its dead. Is the thread still up?

For social, educational and incentive reasons I resumed piano lessons a few of years ago. I stopped when I dropped music from final year HS. But then did a second degree with a music part so resumed.
There is no 'reason' technically for me to go. In that I'm well versed and could teach the first couple grades...
But it's always good getting advice, and she has social gatherings as well.
I've known her since I was 4....what can I say...she's a friend too....
Whom I still call Mrs... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Anyway....I drive to her in the morning for a lesson, then get the bus to work

I dint put in a bid. So I just keep searching. I would be waiting around for a long timeto find out anything. Not worth the trouble. But it was perfect, it was everything we were looking for.

Oh, I would love to learn to play but sadly in an apartment there is no room for a piano. Unless I dont want to sit somewhere but the piano bench. Dont think Dh would appreciate that as comfort. But I'm glad your learning. Must be relaxing.

At least you know what features you want in a home. :thumbsup2

If you dont mine answering, what is it?

The issue that could cause surgery (because not all of my medical issues are related and three symptoms are unsolved to date, blood in urine, vertigo and elevated liver function) is a prolapsed bladder. I never drink alcohol, but have chronic headaches. The headaches caused me to take a lot of Excedrin and Tylenol over the years. I am not sure if that is the issue though until the gastoenterologist gives me a dx for the symptom.

He wants me to meet with the urologist about the blood in my urine and have labs repeated before he will do anything though. The gynecologist says a prolapsed bladder would not cause blood in urine or elevated liver function. It does cause a horrible pain in the pit of my stomach/pelvis and difficulty urinating. I have stress and urge incontinence as well, so that combination with the prolapsed bladder stinks.

I also have extreme vertigo, since the birth of my son. My PCP said I had fluid in my ears and an ear infection. She treated the problem with antibiotics, but the vertigo remains. I have to see an Otolaryngologist for that. My hearing has also been bad, because fluid keeps draining from my sinuses into my ear.

When I was pushing DS#2 out, my bladder dropped. For the time being, it is still inside my body (just barely). If it completely falls out, I would have to have surgery to have it placed back in.

The surgery is done in a number of ways, but surgeons usually tie off another organ to gold it into place or do a total hysterectomy to make room. One can cause sterilty and the other will definitely cause it.

I consider all of these minor issues until I get an official dx that makes them sound worse or my bladder comes out completely requiring surgery (hopefully not before I get to have another baby). Breastfeeding prevents the prolapse from improving, because it limits the bodies estrogen production. Estrogen assists in getting things back to normal down there. I am not willing to stop breastfeeding, especially since DS was already a purist before I got the prolapsed bladder dx.

Sorry about the book. That is why I only mentioned medical issues rather than going into at first, because it really is a mouthful. I had a CT scan for the stomach pain. That is when the prolapse was discovered. The good news is the Doctor did not notice anything else that seemed overly bad.

DS is stirring, so I am going to go soon. Good night everyone.

Hope things work out for you kmedina. Surgery is always a serious business and I wish the best for you.

Thank you. Hopefully, I won't need the surgery. If I do, I hope it is after I have my third kid. If I was not afraid of my bladder falling out sooner, I would wait a little longer before trying for DC#3. DS#2 is a good baby, so I want the third kid. I just wish they did not have to be so close together.

Good luck. Now is the time to buy. The rates are low and there are a lot of houses on the market. We bought ours in 2005, which was just about the worst time too buy. Now, it is worth about $200,000 less than we owe. It will be a long time before we can get out of this house. The original plan was to upgrade to a bigger house, once we started our family. It only has three rooms. Oh well, two of the kids will have to share. They'll survive. I shared a room growing up.

 That is a very hard thing to go through. Wish you all the best.

I'm so sorry all you're going through kmedina. You're right to not do anything until you've had all the specialists have a proper look and diagnosis.

I hope things aren't as bad as some of those things could be.

I am sorry, I will keep you in my prayers.

Looks like my day with the laundry is shot, I guess I will be sleeping most of it away. Oh what a shame.:rolleyes1

THANKS! I need Dynamic Lifter and Blood and Bone.

I was origiinally thinking of heading back to the tulip farm tomorrow....but weather doesn't look good. It looks a better day for gardening instead. Sadly, I don't think I'll be going back up for another tulip look this year.
Glad I won't be walking by your place any time soon....

Stinky.....
