I really feel like Chinese food. Haven't had any basic Chinese since we went to Kylie kwong's one. And that wasn't 'normal' Chinese...lol...fancy Chinese.

I actually know quite a bit about flw having visit his home and studio as well as the robie house. Plus...I'm in that industry.
Tough life....well....he was actually quite a nasty piece of work. Very self absorbed and full of his own importance. I really like Louis Kahn...and FLW did whatvis seriously frowned upon in the industry ... Moonlighting...
He had 6 kids then left the wife and the kids to go off and have an affair. He then had a few affairs. I reckon the only reason the kids and grandkids are still involved with his 'life' and 'legacy' is because so many people are obsessed with it so it's nice kaching...

I met FLW wife and she shared quite a bit of the life that went on. It was very interesting. She is a lovely woman.

My garden stinks. Managed to get out there to throw down some blood and bone, Dynamic Lifter and saturaid.

I noticed that there are weeds coming up where I weeded about 3 weeks ago. Looks like another round of weeding is required....and soon.

Alison - I can understand buying the meat on sale and cooking it when you want to eat it. But WHAT are you going to do with all this cooked meat?

I hope you're taking a whole bunch of meat to band feeding frenzy night.

Fran doesn't want to share. One ham and turkey have already been cut up sliced, diced and put back in the freezer (another one). I'll use them for sandwiches, casseroles, and other stuff like Jambalaya or Chicken Cordon Blue.

As far as the beefs, I'm cooking them for an hour and a half at 275. Just enough cooking that they can be refrozen and finish cooking later. The steaks are the same concept. The roast we ate last night is already sliced and we'll probably finish it off by the end of the week. It won't see the freezer. I'm not sure what we'll do with the two chickens.

I have a lot of recipes that call for cooked chicken or turkey so that will get used up eventually.

How long do you keep the cooked ham and turkey in the freezer for? And when you thaw it out, do you leave it on the bench top or microwave it?
