How loud is the atmosphere in TRex? Is there a lot of background dinosaur noise?

My family found it to be pretty loud. We were quite ready to leave when our meal was finished... However it was really cool and we enjoyed it a lot!

Sometimes it is very loud but the atmosphere is so cool and the food it good.. Its a must for us each trip!

Oh ya, its loud. If you dont want it too loud, stay as far away from the ice room as you can. Even thou you can still hear the meteor shower/roar from anywhere within the restaurant, inside the ice room its particularly loud. I sat in it and actually loved it. But someone who doesnt like noise as much as I do might not enjoy it. Lol.

Last trip we sat at the bar because there was a long wait for tables....we found it to be very pleasant. And it was neat to see the colors on the bar change during the meteor shower.

I heard it was loud too.
But our teens said they wanted to try T-Rex.
No Landry restaurants near our home :(

It is very loud, it was almost too loud and scary for my 2.5 year old and she's pretty tough. She did get used to it and we ate there. I wouldn't go there hoping to have a meaningful conversation with anyone, but it is a neat atmosphere, the rest of my family enjoyed it.

VERY loud...difficult for conversations but REALLY cool and pretty good food.

Like everyone said its extremly loud! For that matter even the Rainforest Cafe is loud... It's not just the animatronics but there are sooo many people in there talking and what not..... BUT if you think that's too much you can still just walk around to see the cool stuff and visit the bone yard, the build a Dino and such...

Just went on Sunday. SOOOOOO.... LOUD! It was very difficult to have a conversation. We also had some very unfriendly waitstaff. That being said, my kids LOVED it. There's so much to look at and walk around and see. Food was also very good. Hope this helps.......

Yes it is loud, both times we have gone, we have gone at "off times" so there were less of a crowd. We went at like 2 one time and 3 the other, we like late lunches anyways. we're a party of 6, so we ended up in the ice room both times, but I like it a lot, and so do my kids. (the look on my oldests son's face as he ordered the chicken fried steak was hilarious.)

Very Very Loud, I asked the waiter if he could hear what I orderd, he said something and I said WHAT , then he said louder I am use to the noise. We didn't even try to talk to each other in there, but we were just outside the Ice Room and is very noisey in there. But is a eal neat place.

It was definitely on the noisy side, however it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. We were sitting right outside the ice cave room as well. Both my kids are not too keen on loud noises and startle pretty easy, but the noise didn't phase them at, they thought the place was cool.
